Great spot for any size rig. Stayed a few days - alone most of the time and joined every few nights by another. Beautiful views, water taken from the creek was pretty clean. Pit toilets walking distance at main campground. Three or so times a day a water truck arrives to take water from the river but it’s not noisy.

RV area is well away from semi parking, so no listening to engines idle all night. Some road noise, but it is the city. Sign says max 48 hours. Lots of van rvs with no issues

Small parking lot outside of trail entrance. No “no camping” signs anywhere. Probably not big enough for bigger rigs but vans and cars would be fine.

We tried this road with our r100gs BMW but impossible to finish it. We made to about 10km from the viewpoint but we had to return. To much mud on the last landslide. Impossible to this one with a heavy bike or a car

We started up this road but it rapidly became too nasty for our liking even in our lifted Sprinter. Perhaps staying on Juan Tomas Rd would have been better. We found this pullout that needed only moderate leveling. Some noise from the highway. Two bars Verizon LTE.

Went there today just to check it out. Met with super aggressive barking dog that chased us as we drove very slow thru the campo. One other big angry dog was tied up & a 3rd on the loose. Did not feel comfortable even getting out if the car! This could be a cool place to camp if the dogs were not a menace. Didn’t see anyone around to ask questions & no one was camping there.

Stopped here today to check it out for future camping options. Only 1 camper van dude was there. No one on site to answer any questions. Nice welcoming entrance. Right on the playa. Lots of places to camp here.

A nice brewery that has a huge parking lot - we asked, as we were enjoying a few beers, if we could stay in the lot….we scored a very nice spring afternoon in a lot with a fresh mowed lawn and played ball with the dog. The brewery closed about 9.

If you like good beer …. It’s there! We enjoyed a few IPAs and pretzels!

Checked this camping area out as we were in the area. Quiet & close to beach. RV sites & dry camping spots available. No one was around today to answer any cost questions. We drove north on hard pack dirt road from this hotel/rv park. Beautiful sand dunes in this area!

This is a dead end street in the middle of a housing development. Very exposed but no one bothered me. A few other cars. I didn’t expect this to be in a newly built neighborhood but very much is just to give you a heads up!

$4.25 for a hot shower. The facility is well-maintained but tiny, reasonable considering this is located in a very small community after all. Showers are only available during lap swim hours and the hours are strictly enforced due to crowd control. I went on a Wednesday during the 11:45am-12:45pm lap swim window, but there are other windows available online on their website.

It’s the farm with the white Walls. Arrived really late by bicycle. You have to knock really loud on the door. Nice people. Got a shelter to put my tent in. Also got a chair and a table. There is water from a tank for bucket shower.
