car camped here on our road trip for 4 nights. there's a car park with 'no overnight parking, signs but we spotted a few other RVs and campers here.
we had no trouble, had council workers in and around us in the morning. none of them said anything to any of us, washrooms are locked at night and are unlocked at around 8 am.
felt very safe here!

Lots of BLM designated camping spots. Road rough but doable with 2wd.

We were happy because we could park our motorhome (6.60m) here for 10000 for 24h. There is a watertap and the water is potable. We could sleep in our motorhome. There is only one place along the wall for a big rig. We felt safe, but the barrio is not the best one. The parking did the job.

After made the cruce Panama-cartagena, something made bad sound in the wheels, so contact with David, and he help us and fixed the problem.

The bearings were destroyed and the gearbox and we fixed a brake leak. He helps us with everything and even if it is a holiday, any problem you have you can call him, a couple of hours from Cartagena

Stunning views! Huge area and we had the whole place to ourselves. No mice when we were here

There is a small turn around area at the end of the road with a small fairy level grassy area off of it. There is possibly room for 2 vehicles to camp there but you would be right next to one another in the knee high tall tick filled grass. There are overgrown trails and yes a cool spring.. but if you are looking for a multiple day campsite I would suggest going elsewhere. there are a few places a small vehicle could park on the side of the road but not very comfortably and no room to put out chairs or anything. I wouldn't call this a campground what so ever. If you are looking to tent camp maybe it would be ok but the entire place is overgrown and full of ticks and poison ivy. please see photo to see the size of the camping area. I stayed one night and did not pull entirely up into the grass due to multiple large rocks hidden in the grassy area. The rest area down the road would have been a better choice. Photos make it look like a large parking area than it actually is.

Quite easy access with 30 ft RV. Flat site here. You could go deep in the forest with an adapted vehicle.

Wonderful find, thanks. Stayed here for a night before the border. The bar can get quite loud so I went as far as possible across the river.
plenty of spaces to camp and lots of dead trees for firewood.

abandoned and a lot of trash in the shelter.
However you could pitch your tent at the nearby, beautiful viewpoint. ;-)
water source nearby as well (down at the bridge)
But be careful the bridge has obvious holes!

It seems like a new campsite.
They serve food, has Wifi and basic convenience store.

free space for camping, next to trail, no facilities, but great views and very quiet!

Arrived here at night on 5/1 during a snowstorm and had it all to myself. Stayed the night. Being off season didn’t have to pay. Woke up to amazing views and white winter wonderland.

We slept here one night, a quiet place overlooking the bay, there is no water or electricity.

Nous y avons passé une nuit. Très tranquilles. Beau ciel étoilé Il faut faire 3 miles de Gravel dont le 1er est le plus difficile (washboards) mais après c’est mieux. Il faut juste aller plus lentement mais ça vaut la peine. On l’a fait avec notre Promaster sans problème 😀

Rendu au point sur Google on est rester là mais il est possible d’aller plus près du Canyon où il a une place pour faire un feu

C’est à 15-20 minutes de l’entrée sud
Du Parc. Il y a aussi d’autres spot sur le chemin si vous ne voulez pas aller à 3 miles de la route principale.

To get to the trailhead you need to take a kombi (3sol pp) at the cross 13 de diciembre and Cajamarca take one that goes to Recrish and get down at the cross of Recrish and Pocyac (if you talk to the driver he’ll let you know when you’ve to get down)
Then you just have to follow the path, even if it is no marked with signs you won’t get lost as you can clearly see the path. First, you’ll arrive to Laguna Radian (3890msnm). Once there, from the north part of Laguna Radian take the path that follows the river and following it you’ll find Laguna Mullaca (4610msnm).
Good hike to get used to the height as the ascent is not too pronounced and you go up little by little. It took us around 4h going up and 3h back down. The views are stunning.

We didn’t come with our motorhome, even so, we saw the parking and it’s perfect for overnight.
Instead, we took a kombi at Avenida Raymondi and Gamarra and paid 20sol pp round trip.
I would totally recommend coming with the motorhome.

This location is a test stop for travelers. Not sure if you can stay overnight.
It is about 1.5 miles further west on the Oatman Hwy than the pin shows.

Two Australians and an American were murdered here yesterday . Surfing and camping on the beach . Their truck and tent was burned . Do not come here

Beautiful location to camp. Ourselves and another RV stayed the night. Our 25ft just fitted into the parking spot. There are clean restrooms next to the shop near the lodge.

Now 2,50 € per hour.
Very expensive now.

We were going to camp here but got passed by a few safari cars after we'd parked up around 4pm, so decided to head somewhere else. Saw heaps of elephants around.

Camp now "operational", cost 300p pppn, currently toilets aren't working but should be later this month (May 2024).

Lovely small sheltered bay with built up fire place. Very private

Wonderful place. One of my favorites on this app so far! I stayed here for two nights with a tent, just over the hill behind the picnic tables. The portaloo next to the carpark was a welcome extra. Apparently busy on weekends, but aside from families having picnics and people walking their dogs, I had the place to myself. Great find!

Súper amables el personal, nos estacionamos al lado del restaurant, baños impecables 5 estrellas, duchas 10 reales por persona. Restaurant rico y buenos precios. Tiene wifi. Mucho camión y seguro para pernoctar. Bastante ruido por la noche pero es lo normal de dormir en las postos.

Perfect spot to stay and was not difficult to get with 4x4 high clearance.

Nice place. Basic bathrooms. Drive down to park along the river. Friendly owners. They offer breakfast and dinner as well. 2x breakfast + 2x dinner was 60.000COP. Stay for two persons in a van 50.000COP. Leaving the van there while we went to Tayrona (which is less than 1k walking) was 25.000COP

We spent 1 night at this station in front of the steakhouse, if you fill up, you don't have to pay for the shower for men, otherwise 15 reais on this date, there are some plug and tap points on the ground, quiet night

great spot to sleep for the night. my partner and i slept soundly. lots of people around so if you are a light sleeper it might be hard but it felt safe with so much traffic coming and going. would recommend.

convenient close to the beach promenade. but very very loud. the parking was full and noisy until 4am. we did not have a good sleep. 50 mad for the night.
