Super quiet, nice view, but long drive up. A box truck made it in dry condition so not too bad.

The toilets next to the Teatro Griego are open, even at night. There are also sinks.

New Hotel. Lovely place. Clean rooms with mosquito net and fan. Clean western toilet with running water and hot shower. 15,000 MK with breakfast. 12,000 MK without breakfast. There is also restaurant where you can order food.
Huge parking space. Most likely best place in this town.

Vous pouvez poser votre votre véhicule juste devant le petit restaurant de plage face à la mer sur une plage très propre. Possibilité d'y manger (très bon et bon marché). Ouvert en juillet août alors que beaucoup d'endroits sont fermés. Demandez Hervé ! 😉

Welcome to Cowboy Dinner Tree. We are pleased to offer a Restaurant, Cabins, and Gift Shop on our homestead in Central Oregon’s Outback. We’re located in Silver Lake, Oregon — about a 90-minute drive from Bend.

Years and years ago there was an old shack under a Juniper tree, which is now the home to Cowboy Dinner Tree. Back then, ranchers from Paisley, Summer Lake, and Silver Lake pushed their cattle through Sycan Trail en route to the lush meadows of the Sycan Marsh. By the time the Cowboys had moved the cattle from the Silver Lake bed to the Dinner Tree, it was considered the halfway point, and they were hungry! There, the chuck wagon was waiting to serve up some buckaroo beans and biscuits.

Today after all these years, the Cowboy Dinner Tree still serves up the beans and bread, along with a slab of beef that most cowboys would only dream of on the trail!

Place still good for one night. Some locals passed by, said hello and left.
Two policemen came as well, just to check who we are. They let us sleep here, maybe because we are safe in our truck. They also invited us to visit them at the police station in Kyela.

This place is super hard to find at night! GPS takes you to the dirt road that goes along the canal and the palm tree farm. DON'T take that road. it goes on forever and there isn't anywhere to turn around, Keep going past the bridge, then there is another road on the other side of the bridge, drive past that and the entrance to the campground is just a few feet further on the left. The bathrooms are across the road and the hotsprings are back behind them. The hot springs are tiny, like hot tub sized. There are a lot of nomad, hippies that hang out in there. They gave us some advice for a nice hot shower- you can get wet in the shower then fill a rinse bottle and lather up soap and shampoo in the bushes and then rinse off with your bottle to get all of the soap out before showering to rinse.
The campground itself is super desolate. There is no one here. Big empty space, plenty of sites. Its clean, safe. We took our 25 foot camper behind a truck and theres so much room. you could even bring a motorhome. We are about 45 mins from the boarder. We left our camper here yesterday and went into Mexico for the day. It was fun!

If you can't get the website to work just park up on the right just before the toll and go into the small office. A very helpful lady sorted us a prepaid tag for our windscreen which will get us all the way to Brazil $850 UYU. No cash accepted but no problem paying with our UK visa card.

There is a few comments about the narrow path to the camping, but there was a huge bus on the premises during my visit. Narrow yes, but ok slowly. (see photo of the bus).

We squeezed in through the rocks quite easily and then chose a beautiful place to camp looking out over the cliffs. No one bothered us. Two other trucks came in and set up several tents for the night. Quiet and completely clean and incredible sunset.
