Brand new machines and very clean inside; looks like new. Parking is tight in the parking lot, though. $3.50, $5.75, $6.75, $4.75, or $7.75 for washing. .25 for a 10 minite dry.

We parked here in the end of afternoon. Nobody bothered us. Some wind and cold night. But really nice view. Felt safe, flat and quiet night.

Got there 15 litres of gasoline for the local price. no waiting directly into tank. Only had to show a copy of our tip from the border. Didn't seem to interest the guy anyway

Very nice woman sold us gasolina for local price directly into tank. Only had to pay 1 Bol for a copy of the passport of a stranger that she had in Stock for entering his passport number in the system. However it worked out quite well for us!

Nice, clean hotel with friendly owners. prices are 100 bol per night in a doubleroom with private bathroom. We are allowed to park our two big bikes in the courtyard and leave them here while we do a jungle/ Pampa tour. Also has a little kitchen under a roof in the patio where you could prepare something to eat in your own pans.

Very cool place for breakfast and lunch run by the young couple Angel and his wife. Besides the very cozy restaurant they also offer EcoSafari Tours for Nature Lovers also in English. (Menu & Flyer for tours attached)

Just in case you’re confused like me, the half price discount with the access pass if not for the regular national parks pass. Access pass is the one you can get if you have a disability.

About 15 min drive off interstate, historical site is a real bonus, gravel parking lot, no one else was here, we had plenty of space with 26’ trailer and pickup and dog. Peaceful and some wild life. Mild breeze.

2.50 to wash and .50 for 15 min of drying. Quarters only and no changer or soap so bring what you need. Its right by the KOA cabins

busy on a Kentucky Derby Saturday but still fine for an overnight stay

Alabama Hills was completely taken as well as Lone Tree campground so I came over here. I am the only one here and it’s extremely windy. This land is owned by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Not sure if it’s ok to stay here but will update if I get a knock. Seems to be an OHV area and there are shotgun shell casings all over the place and garbage. I am just off the road on some dried up mud bed.

On my way back I stayed there.
The owner is very kind, ready for a chat and can prepare different delicious meals for roughly 15-20 Soles. You could also request a bigger portion and pay a bit more (as I did).
They also have some fruits available (Tuna - the cactus fruit).
Overall warm-hearted place and much less visited than other places along the way. :-)

2nd time here, first check in at this free BLM dirt lot. Dumpster and fire pits along north side past fence. No other amenities. Just find a spot to park that's away from everyone else as best you can. T-mobile 2 bars LTE; slow but usable.

Safe, clean, and affordable little hostel. The owner let us park our motorcycle inside as pictured by a previous reviewer. We paid $19.50 USD a night for a private room with a shared bathroom (one bathroom between every 2 bedrooms). Communal kitchen is really nice. Free breakfast included eggs, bread, beans, fruit, and coffee. Laundry service $3 USD. No real complaints although the room does run on the hotter side. There are fans but no AC.

Starlink antenna got decent reception facing north. Great access to nearby mountain biking. Note still quite a bit of snow but just patches on the roads.

Budget Hotel with heated room. Warm water and hot shower. Squat Toilet.
I paid 13.000.000, IRR - There were different prices and I choose the special room. I suppose the meant a larger room with kitchen and private bathroom.
I stayed only for one night there, but the kitchen gave me the impression that it was not used for a long time.

People were very friendly but they do not speeak english.
There is secured parking place.

Didnt stay in this exact location because of trash but went up the hill to a private spot. Road is soft and seems sketchy in 2wd but its hard packed just a couple inches down.

Just a regular Cracker Barrel. Large parking lot, no pull-thru spots, however I see a large RV here just parked across spots. Right next to Walmart. Lots of highway noise. Safe, well lit. I used earplugs to sleep, even with a fan on. Cracker Barrel up in Bellmead (N Waco) is much quieter and less busy all around. Check satellite view on Maps to see the layout. There is also a heavy equipment repair shop near where RV parking is, which can be a little loud during the week if you're like me and like to sleep in a little.

Was done in 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly and efficient. 15$ for SIM card + 10gb data.

Still operating. Good easy dump station, water was working. Free.

We used the dump station two days ago, water to rinse and flush was working.

Unfortunately the ships are dismantled and recycled.

Still the best pharmacy with almost everything. In the same building is the St. Elmo clinic, which is good aswell and has a fast and well equipped laboratory.

Best Coffee / Restaurant in town. Good drinks, food and service. Favourite place to go for many local muzungus and tourists. High standard, medium priced. The perfect place for a coffee with friends.

full disclosure, I'm not actually at the exact location but further down the road about a mile. mile. there's these little turn-ins that you can pull your camper or van or car in. You're not getting a class A down here. decent enough. Verizon LTE it's very quiet and looks like the flowers are starting to bloom. I wouldn't venture off the Forest road or the shortcrased area of the camp due to the unbelievably large amount of ticks in Michigan. but the Forest road goes forever so there's plenty of walking one can do. for some reason I can't take pictures which is driving me crazy because I guess I have Android 14 and it doesn't allow it?

Good for hiking to Mount Tahtali. Good for tents and small cars. Good view.
