Great spot for one night. I have stayed here before and have never had any issues. Be respectful and stealth as this is just a street along the beach in front of residencial homes/condos. You will have street noise as well as a lot of walkers/bikers. It is along a trail that wraps around the coast with easy access to a bike path and about 15min walk to downtown. I was able to park here and ride my bike to downtown for a bite to eat. Again, no problems with this spot and the view is just stunning!

We spent a night there. In front of the restaurant. They let us use the bathroom, very clean.
A bus full of people parked for an hour next to us in late evening so pretty noisy but the night was calm.

Plenty of space for 3 different units. Could hear a train in the far distance in the morning. Quiet and pretty sunset.

Lots of camping available spread out. Good Verizon signal. Target shooting takes place near the mountain and is very active. Occasional motorcycle driving by on the trail.

Can’t beat the price (free for 24 hours). Simple gravel lot; 50/30/15 amps; potable water available at the park but not at each site. Fenced dog park and play ground for the kiddos. Three other RVers shared this CG with us. Lots of room for more. A couple of sketchy locals roaming around during daylight hours; but seemed harmless. Train tracks are right here; but our AC drowned out the noise. At night, adequate lighting around the facility. Our only complaint was the petroleum smell from the nearby facilities. When the wind was active, this smell wasn’t too bad. But, once the wind died down, the stink infiltrated. Regardless, would stay here again.

Great campground with clean showers and toilets. Water and electricity at the community area. You pay 10$ per tent without hookups. Definitely a great place to stay if you’re in the area. Not too crowded either in May.

Fantastic place! Richard is super nice and a traveler himself. With the camper you can park in the fenced parking lot, use the toilet and warm shower. There are lots of different hiking trails through the cloud forest that are well signposted and you get a map with all the trails marked - you can walk them all yourself or with a guide. There are soooo many hummingbirds at the lodge and at 6am they feed the birds, we saw several mountain toucans and lots of other birds, even a quezal! A bit expensive at $10 per person/night, but in our opinion worth it for at least one night!

Works great, high pressure. Though it tastes funny, so we prefer to get our drinking water from other free filtered sources

It is what it is! A safe place where it’s approved to park. I went inside to double-check with an employee because I was a little confused about which parking lot they wanted overnighters in. Basically, the west end over near the hotel. It’s a lighted parking lot, safety, didn’t bother me with my window covers up, blah blah. Some road noise, sure, but you’re in the city. It’s walking distance to the river walk which in my opinion, is a nice stroll if you need to move your legs but it’s full of all the gross touristy crap. Do yourself a favor and go visit The Flea, a great locals dive on the other side of downtown. Or The Pump was a neat bar up on the North end of town and lots of restaurants within walking distance of it.

A couple of really awesome spots, some not so awesome. A couple of the sites have lots of litter, but it is easy to find clean sites next to the reservoir. Tent camped and woke up to an incredible sunrise. Very slow if any cell service

Lazaras makes delicious bread! We came here everyday as long as we were in the area. We always ordered his amazing homemade bread, a cappuccino and a homemade lemonade. They have some sandwiches and good salads. Lazaras and his collegue are super friendly. A very nice place to be around. There is also a shop with nice souvenirs.

We love it here. Not many amenities (pit toilet and picnic table only), but the scenery is gorgeous and the proximity to town can’t be beat. We stayed three nights and paid roughly $7/night with Eric’s Access Pass. I think we stayed in loop D?? The one with the view of the mountains. It’s farther back and we’d never stayed there before. I liked it. You can fill up water containers and dump trash at Rotary Park.

Mid-week it was empty. Heard one vehicle drive by on the forestry road early in the morning. The creek right beside the spot is great to listen to falling asleep.

Nice place next to the river. There is spot for small campers. There is a free toilet and an open-air gym. I put my tent on the grass. The place is perfect, a bit loud because the trains are passing close.

Good parking spots on 10th Avenue along Moody Park, for stealth/self-contained camping or just street parking. Completely free, no parking restrictions, when we visited. The only signs we saw were to warn car owners of possible flying balls from the nearby baseball fields :)

This spot is close to the park washrooms (open during the day, closing at 9pm).
We liked it for an easy quick night before heading to the airport, esp because there are angled parking spots, so you don't feel close to the road and traffic. Relatively quiet at night, felt safe, another camper stayed there as well.

Good for an emergency stop, when the iOverlander general services spot is not available :D

Still 35R for the night&waterfall (two persons & car with rooftoptent. Dogs are welcome and the trails in the property are a nice walk - other waterfalls are difficult with dogs/ecological parks/ dogs forbidden.
Bathrooms were clean and we felt welcome.
