Located in the parking lot for the trailhead. Takes some effort to pump, but nice potable water for filling jugs. Also at the trailhead are toilets and a garbage disposal bin.

Typical rest stop noise. Trucks idling. The bathrooms are closed due to sewage problems so they have portable toilets which were recently cleaned when we were there. Felt safe.

Quiet, off the main road. Abput 0.6mi in.
The road / trail is easy to traverse, any SUV/CRV should be able to make it no problem.

We stopped for lunch and a nap, but didn't get out of the car much as the flies were really bad.

Cute place next to the river. Toilet available, but the seat was a little bit high. Calm at night but early in the morning cars and trucks were passing by fast on the route close to the rest area.

very simple campground and park on the Lac Qui Parle river. river access and two communal water refill stations. no electric and two pit toilets. Cell service for AT&T is almost non existent but there are spots with a lot of open sky to allow a starlink to work well. This park is run by volunteers and take donations for maintenance. Camping is free but a $20 a night donations is recommended. When we were there the bugs were some of the worst we've seen, so bad it chased us out of staying a second night.

Good cell service. A little windy. Beautiful view of the valley. Some locals came up to drink and watch the sunset but no one seemed to mind we were there. Felt safe. Very quiet.

Great spot! Hard to find a spot level enough for our fridge, but made it work. So nice to relax and watch the river pass by.

There are signs that say max 24 hr parking is allowed. One sign up by the flush toilets and another in the lower parking lot. There are picnic tables and garbage cans. Lots of walking trails nearby. We didn't actually stay here, just wanted to update that boondocking is allowed. There was a trailer settled in for the night when we drove by. I imagine it would be nice to sleep with the sound of the waterfall right there.

No camping allowed. Day use only. Water level is too high for there to be any beaches anyway,

Great location! Friendly Enlish speaking owner. With nice cold draught beers! Delicious food served on a rooftop with a beautifull sunset. Water and toilets available. I guess during highseason campfires are held.

So happy we stayed here for a night. Father Clemence is extremely kind and so polite. Generous with his time her showed us around the seminary where we met the students and later he took me on a tour of the city where I met some of his family. I bought fresh Pao at the Church bakery and Croissants a the radio station’s little pastelaria. Met the Cathedral Priest and spent a short time there. A wonderful experience. We made a donation. Were offered ablutions. An amazing experience.

We camped a 1/2 mile east of the campground on a pullout across from the silo that was awesome! A berm buffers the sound of the highway and trains and the area felt quite peaceful. A pit toilet is 1/3 mile toward the campground. View of the dam in the distance was lovely and lit up all night.

Nice place, clean, fast WiFi, friendly lady. I paid 40 bolivianos for a room with a single bed.

My bicycle could stay inside the yard. Motorcycles could park there as well.

The bathroom was clean, had toilet paper and hand soap, which is unique in Bolivia. The shower is warm if you put on the switch.

We camped at a quiet and beautiful pullout 1/2 mile before the free camping across from the silo. Such a lovely spot! A berm blocked much of the highway and train noise and created a feeling of seclusion. Beautiful setting and distant view of the dam at night was dazzling. Put toilet 1/3 mile from the site.
