Great spot with a nice view! Some locals come here during the day so the spot is unfortunately layed with litter. The beach is only max 5 min away. Spot is approachable via a dust road. Depending on the conditions a 4x4 is necessary.

tried to get up to the 4x4 spots further up but the gate was closed so I happened upon this lovely spot. feels like a place people come to walk their dogs. nice little pool right in front with crystal clear water. definitely worth a visit, just keep it clean or I bet the dog walkers will petition for a gate or something - really funny sign on the way in telling the crack heads to bot dump stuff 😂

This was the worst night we've had on a Posto in Brazil. The boracharia was working until late in the night. Lots of truck traffic all night long with trucks just standing there with running engines. The road had lots of traffic all night long.

Maybe you can find a more silent spot if you park somewhere in the corner of the parking lot.

Other than that it's a standard posto with all the amenities you need. Bathrooms where kind of clean.

This place has been closed for over 6 months to my knowledge.

After our game drive in the park we stayed for 5 days in the region. It is possible to receive a transit of 2 hours (if you still have the ticket of your game drive). We went all the way to the main gate of Sekenani, as the main road is horrible.

Top of village beneath mountains. Quiet. Large space. Tarmac or grass available to campervans for overnight. Free. No restrictions. Bins. Recycling. No toilets. The community wishes visitors to use the shop or cafe toilets rather than spoil the car park so no excuses, keep these places clean!

really nice place, we stayed the night with the kids, multiple spots with shade. only downside was the crazy amount of wasps which made us leave the next day as we could not make a single meal.
police came in the evening but didnt say anything to anyone, just stopped by for 15min and then left.

This is SPAR has everything you need. Western and eastern hot and cold food. There is original Caffee machine with beans and a self-service Buffett. And every kind of grocery, vegetable, cheese and meat for everyone’s mood. Free Wi-Fi , WC and electricity to charge phones etc.

Parked by the boat launch, seems like a popular spot for locals. Had a handful of cars drive through throughout the night. Volunteer at the museum (a great tour!) said he didn’t mind people parking overnight, but it is technically not permitted by the city. No “no overnight” signs posted. Do with that what you will.

A beautifully located family oriented restaurant that over looks the sea.

Awesome snorkel spot for the family, not far from Tofu.
Also a family restaurant (mango beach) on the Dune.

English speaking and helpful pharmacy with a lot of stuff.

we stayed here for one quiet night in the nature. its a parking lot from the national trust without any „no camping“-signs. many cars with hikers over the day, but no one at night.

Dormimos aqui uma noite, e foi tranquilo, com pouco movimento.
O banheiro é relativamente limpo, e não cobraram o banho.
Tem restaurante até às 22:00 e lanchonete 24 horas.

Lugar trance seguro para pernoitar.

There are two very large, red "No Overnight Parking" signs. I went inside and asked Customer Service if this Walmart allows Overnight Parking. She immediately smiled, said "Yes" and told me to park furthest from the store (where the signs are). Quiet, safe, uneventful evening.
This is not a Super Walmart: no deli or bakery, tiny vegetable section, some meat in freezer, 5 grocery aisles.
Note: the marsh nearest the highway has toads who croak all night.
5 bars Verizon 4G. Winegard amplifier pulled in weak Lowe's wifi signal (no Walmart). Didn't look for restaurant inside, Taco Bell across the street.

Nice site. Easy access. On a paved street.

The place is nice to watch ships, but not ideal for sleeping. The ships are the quietest, the container trains also run at night, in the middle of the night a motorcycle gang came and made a noise for 1 hour. Early arriving workers and then hundreds of macaws who make spectacle from 5:30 a.m.
