Yeah definitely don’t park here. Tons of signs saying not to park overnight and doesn’t even seem that quiet.

This little park has 8 food trucks around it permanently you can get burguers, sandwich, pizza, Pancho's, sodas and beers. There are also tables and portaloos.

Several spots along the road prior to the end where the bathroom is. Quiet, lots of birdsong this evening and a lovely sunset. Some train noise, but pretty far off and not too noisy.

Great place to stop overnight. Very quiet. At least 3 other campers stayed.

This Ecofuturo ATM doesn't take 4 USD fees for Mastercard, as opposed to the one on Avenida Camacho. Worked a charm with my N26 Mastercard debit card.

Quiet and clean. Keep it that way. Hidden behind a shooting range. Not much traffic with shady spots. 1-2 bars of service.

Beautiful shady campground near water and free! Pit toilet, camp host has firewood for sale. There are only five sites, first-come, first served. But, if you're tenting, there is a walk-in tent area past the day-use picnic tables. Walk down a short trail to a wooded section with room for several tents. There is a sign at the beginning of the trail that designates this for walk-in tenters. Right outside the campground gate is a large parking area and trail head.

Beautiful little camp spot with amazing views of the lake! We stayed here for 1 night and it was a very peaceful and quiet night with no issues or problems. This spot is right off the road so every now and again you can hear a passing car but at night it was very quite. This spot is definitely recommended.

It’s a great spot as it’s super easy to get to, but it is in site and ear shot of the highway. It’s also quite often taken, the sites further up are more than twice the drive but quieter.

We went there for a night. the car is a 2x4 hyundai elentra, we manage to get to the camping spots but because the car is low it was hard a little. Lots of people at night to party but very friendly. It was calm where we sleep, we didnt even hear the party. Lottsssss of mosquitos!! ahah

Beautiful spacious and private sites on the lake. 2 sites were occupied when I arrived, but the one directly on the lake (next to the boat launch) was available. There were two garter snakes on the beach, which were interesting to watch.
For swimming I went a bit westwards through the woods, there is a very nice beach opening up with smaller rocks and 2 m in the lake it becomes sand.
Had very little but enough cellular reception.

Arrive here at night, took me a bit to find the spot since it was dark but I agree with other post here you would need a 4x4. I took my suburban here with no problem. Could not find the waterfall though. No one drove by at all, very quiet - 4th of July weekend.

I chose the first spot on the left, so some highway noise. Lots of travel trailers around, some quads going by. Good for solar & starlink. I'm sure spots further in are close to the creek but not this one. Flat & level. Rock fire ring.

Parked in the middle of car park. All seems good. No other vans here yet, but feels safe

Large flat area just off East Steens Highway. Gravel surface is pretty level. Room for 2 or 3 big rigs and/or tents.

No issues. Parked one night with one other van not far from us.

Right at the summit of the pass, and 20’ from main road, you’ll find a large level area spot with two stone fire rings and room for 3 or 4 vehicles. Small trailers okay too.
Trees for hammocks. Plenty of firewood.

Starlink works great.
No cell coverage.
Minimal traffic - side by sides

A perfect spot to stay for a night and acclimate to the height. The side valley is beautiful with cacti 🌵 and coloured rocks, very quiet. From time to time cars that go further into the valley to their houses. Recommended!

We stayed Friday night and it was quiet. Loads and loads of cars and bikes all just driving around this loop until about 10pm, then hardly anything.

Crossed Friday afternoon. Hardly anyone here at all.
Looked in our car and saw eggs, then started searching it and began finding other things. Were very unhappy about a big bag of unopened cat biscuits (odd thing to care about…) we had but didn’t confiscate anything and let us go. Not as chilled as thought it might be! Hide it all!

Nice quet spot. Only one other camper here. Store across the road is tiny. Not much to resupply with, but they have firewood.

Several level spots with fire rings. Only about .3 off road, but quiet. Some are out in the open, some are in tree clearings back farther. Take dirt road on back side of turn out. Nice!

Slept her 1 night alone with my dog in our small trailer (woman alone). At the end of the quai there is room for 2 rv (car with small trailers or 2 mid to small campers). there is some action when the ferry comes but it's still very quiet. beautiful sunset. There is plenty of room for small rigs. bright spotlights at night, bring your eye cover :)

Nous avons passé la nuit avec notre vr classe c juste à côté d’un casse croûte. Pas très loin un enseigne écot pas de camping pas de feu. Des gens des la places nous on dit que très souvent des gens arrêtés pour la nuit avec leur voiture ou camper. Une dame avec sa van avait passé la nuit d’avant sans se faire déranger. Très longue plage.

Petit campsite 30$/nuit. une toilette avec lavabo et une douche eau chaude. Lavabo pour vaisselle.
Pit a feu 10$ le bac de bois.

Nice spacious area beside somewhat murky river. VERY busy on the Friday night we stayed in June - loud trucks in and out from around 5 pm through 2-3 am. Lots of people there putting in boats and shore fishing up til around 10 pm.
