Just wanted to note that we were not able to get into the springs free after 8. we waited till 8:20 PM and we're still charged full amount for springs that close at 10 PM. As we left around 10:45 they were still monitoring the gate. the springs open at 7, so I think they will likely catch you very early too. This may be seasonal or new, but wanted to adjust expectations. Also, we had a bear grab our grey water jug! Which as sort of awesome, but be aware there are bears and bison walking around freely in the camp. |

On the south west side of the lake just before you drive onto the dam, there is a small gravel road going down to the lake. Used to be a boat ramp but that is overgrown at this time. Enough space for 1 or 2 vans, you will need a couple of rocks to level your vehicle. There is a fire ring and you can easily walk into the water for a swim. No cell phone reception. |

We stayed here for one night to give us a break from 84. The view is really pretty, especially as the sun sets. There were no other campers, but we felt pretty safe and had full bars of ATNT service. Locals definitely show up in the morning, but to be fair we stayed in Saturday morning. Great for one night. |

Car camping. I parked my car on the side of the building closest to the road under a light. It felt very safe. It was fairly quiet too. I parked pretty far away from the trucks so there was not much noise from truck motors during the night. If I visit there again I will park behind the building to be away from most of the cars that come in and out - especially in the morning. I wish I had thought of that before I settled down for the night.

Amazing campground for a great price. Met Roger the tribal maintenance man who explained to us how his people respect nature, how to listen to animals, and showed us some of the native edible plants. I went fishing and caught a ton of pike, some were really big! Use weedless lures over the shallow grass beds...please release the big ones! |

here the interpretation center gives you free access with your park entrance tickets, even if no one checked us. it talks about the animals that live in the area and the fossils that have been found there. next to it there is the Julio c. |

The lot where these coordinates are is actually $25 til 3am. But the lot on the other side of it, which is accessible by Robinson St, is $20 for 24 hours. There are some $10 and $15 lots in the area that allow overnight, but we found them to be way busier and congested. This lot was nice and quiet, away from the main drags, and you can hear the sound of the falls in the distance. |

Great little spot off hwy 80 while making our way west. Nothing special but free. Gate was shut but not locked. Please close and rechain when leaving. Very buggy and were visited by cows coming for a drink. Flat with some gravel. Could fit 2-3 vehicles. Had good cell service with both vzn and t-mobile. |

We have stayed here twice when doing a cross country drive. Beautiful quiet place right off I-70. $15 for full hooks. Right by a lake. You have to drive through a cemetery to get to the park but it’s worth it. $10 to use RV dump and if you don’t want hook ups it’s only $5 a night. |

We're on a cross-country rv trip with our 32-foot 5th wheel camper and a chasing vehicle. We needed a place to stop overnight as we didn't make it as far as we'd hoped. it was easy to access with our rig, but getting level would have been very difficult had we not had hydraulic jacks on the rig. It was nice and quiet and the view was amazing. Mosquitoes swarmed us as soon as we arrived but our bug spray worked fine. the chasm road took us out to the highway without having to backtrack. perfect stopover. |

Nice spot, $15 spot for no electric. Bath house was fairly clean & open. Not too many people, right on the water. Would recommend for passing by- I wish we could've spent a little more time at the site on the water even. |
