Lots of sites though highly popular. Was there early afternoon Friday and all sites on the skagit were taken. Continue down road and you will find other sites, albeit less beautiful as seen in some of the pictures. As of May 2020, road is pretty potholed but can be done in a standard car.

Lots of spots off this dirt road. My location was a little ways in. No 4wd or high clearance when road is dry and groomed. 50 mile view just a few feet away from my spot. Half mile hike to water stream, follow Down to water fall.

Nice place for a night. Enjoyed the book swap.

Water tap in the centre of town. Not sure if it's open all year

Nice spot on the creek near Zion National Park.

Great site next to the water. Pleasant sounds from running water.

After few meters on a track you will arrive on a flat area with lake view.
No shadow but you can find a wooden table under a tree if you take the small path on the right side. And have an access to the beach with this same path.

Nice quiet campsite right along the KAT. Enough room for 3 vehicles and a stream running nearby.

Self serve and wash and fold service. New facility, very clean. Spanish speaking only employees. $1 per pound for wash and fold.

free onsen next to the beach, free parking then walk about 100m and you will see an ugly fence

Large spot; level area for 1-2 cars/tents. 2WD OK. No cell service on T-Mobile or AT&T.

A nice place at the Isar for 2 small tents.
Near the Isar cycle path. A few young people came in the evening, but it was ok.

Nice open area, the first few spots are near the road and can get quite crowded. The road is then gets rutted but I was able to drive my 51 year old VW to a more secluded spot overlooking town. the view is amazing with the sun set and the lights from town. I don't hear any gun shots yet but it is quite windy.

Some narks on RZRs thought it would be an excellent idea to go offroading at 11:30 with their lights blaring. I don't understand that.

Located between the two parking spots. Use the GPS coordinates to arrive at the small path that leads to an open area, accessible only with 4x4. Bond fire possible if you are careful.

Great campground with spacious sites. Look for spots with trees as it can get hot in the afternoon.

Sweet BLM land. Long dirt road with plenty of designated camp sites. Bring your own water and things and you’ll have a great time! Pretty quiet with awesome views.

Stayed 3 nights with covid-19 special, 150 NAD pppn. Spot number 1 is furthest away from others. Great outdoor ablutions, staff starts donkey around 5pm. Plenty of shadows, sink to wash dishes, picnic table. Wonderful scenery and night sky. Campsite is 15mins walk away from lodge. Since the lodge was full we weren't allowed to use swimming pool. Not sure if worth the regular price. Issue with flies hanging around your eyes in the afternoom

Just a Walmart parking lot that has several other night campers here. There are zero signs saying anything about overnight parking. In a convenient shopping center as well.

Coming from the north there are two dirt road turnoffs before the big one that you can take to go straight to the beach. Follow the signs, and from there decide how far you want to go towards this spot. We did not want to risk getting stuck in the loose sand with our 2WD, so camped on the parking area closer to the village instead.

Good place we camp for one night. Private lodge no facilities for camping Fresh borehole water available. Paid K100 for the night. We negotiated the price.

Nice, hidden, quiet meadow with trees and quit clear water.
That was our last camp spot before or home Dresden, after our 5 years around the world journey, beginning in Dresden.

This is a great little primitive spot off of NF-2406 in the Umatilla National Forest. About a mile or so down the gravel road, there is a pull off, room for a few vehicles, pretty flat ground. Great for tents as well. No water source nearby, no cell service. But GREAT view of the forest valley from the fire ring.

Service area for campingcars, with 4 places to park, with water, electricity, waste beans.
Free water. Dump station. WC cleaning.
Nice calm and secure place to overnight and really nice swimming pools at the Termas de Nisa.

Spent 2 nights left during day time came back around 9:00pm till morning no problems. A few people do pull in to meet talk and leave

A wild camp inside the forest, south from road 959 to Merom Golan, abot 1 km turn west follow a dirth road to the forest.

Great place, just watch the mosquitoes if the wind dies.

Beautiful. Right on the beach. Try the hot po boy by the docks and buy lots of shrimps straight from the boats for $3 a pound.
