I personally wouldn’t choose this spot as it is visible from some houses and they are building some big mansions just on the hill, but it is a very nice spot and although there are some trucks loading rocks and they excavate here its a pretty epic view over the lake and it feels safe as others have been here before! Great for a night

Two options I think for 4000sh, fish with rice, beans and sauce or ovals with the same, the fish is pretty good and try the ‘vacado’ juici for 1000sh it’s a taste sensation!

Pull out on Lime Creek Rd. Pretty bumpy getting here and the signs say high clearance recommended. I made it in my 2 WD Ford E 250, but went verrry slow. Several fire pits, but only enough room for a car or 2 unless you pull up onto the flat-ish rock along side the road. Spotty Verizon and AT&T.

Mostly RV camps with ATVs tearing up and down the road. The last few sandy spots along the creek before the private property require 4x4. The surrounding sandstone cliffs are scenic and the creek is only a few inches deep currently. Lots of afternoon shade in these spots.

Nice spot off of the road. Lots of day traffic and dirt bikes, but the parking area is fairly level and there is a large fire ring made out of rocks. You have great Mountain View’s. Most vehicles can make it to this spot without any issues.

Very nice camping with only Discovery Pass requirement, no other fee. Excellent cell reception, will stay again when be back to the area.

Malheureusement, il n'y avait pas d'accès aux toilettes ni à de l'eau courante. Il y avait du stationnement ça c'est sûre et un endroits pour mettre les ordures.

Trois trains nous ont réveillés pendant la nuit en faisant jouer leur klaxon.

La dame est venue nous collecter 15$ avant de partir, mais pour ce que nous avons comme service ça n'en valait pas du tout la peine. Allez plutôt au Rest Area un peu plus loin sur la 1W (ce sera indiqué par une pancarte avec une table de pique-nique)

I’m in a mini van and couldn’t make it much further past the front of the lot. The road is too rough and rocky for a low car. Really not doable with a small car unless you get the very first spot in the lot tucked between the trees or if you want to stay out in the open in the lot.

BLM managed sits on Blackfoot Reservoir. 16 improved sites with electric, picnic table under a shelter, potable water at intervals but not at each site. I have not checked the restrooms so do not know if there are showers. There are more sites without electric. Call 208-547-4326 BLM for more info. Dump station with easy access. Sites are not shaded, full sun.

Great place to camp for the night. No one bothered me at night and it was pretty quiet.

Found a spot in the dispersed campground. Tough downhill dirt road to get here from 143. No cell service.

This place is temporary closed because of wet roadways.

Possibilities for wifi, electricity, potable water.

Moderately sized back parking lot for all types of vehicles. Called and confirmed overnights are possible.

Try the one up the road which has much more variety of indian goods and imported luxury items.

Check after any work from any mechanic as the bolt of the diff was not tightened by the previous guy topping up diff oil so a new bolt needed to be found and oil. Also emergency tyre repair by adding a tube to the torn tubeless tyre. It would be wise to bring tubes for such occasions as size 245/75 is hard to come by in Eastern Africa it seems....had to order one from Dar and wait 3 days in Kigoma to get it.

It‘s a gravelground parking. There is no „camping forbidden“ sign. There is space for about 4 cars/vans or 2 big campervans.
Its next to the river so bit noisy and 100m away from the road but the road is really quiet.

A truck stop behind the garage for overnight parking. There is an ablutions block (not great). TSH5,000 pn.

As described, quiet at night, stars are incredible.

190pppn now. Still excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
