Signs now posted for No Overnight parking/camping.
We didn’t see the signs until morning so luckily we didn’t get in any trouble.
We did have one hero beep us on his way out of the car park at 5am.
You probably won’t get in trouble, but the sign is there, so make your own judgement.
Really nice rest stop though, and a nice view if you walk up to the tables on top of the hill

Dispersed camping spot in national forest. We parked and set up a tent nearby the road for one night. There are more spots along the foresr road, this is just one of them. Great for a tent or van.

No amenities, lot's of cow pies, and some noise from the nearby route 16...but it's free and wild. Pack in pack out, pet friendly.

Great location! Very quiet night. There was one other vanlifer parked in the lot with us. We parked on the far side from the entrance to the parking lot. There was 3 porta potties which were all in excellent condition.

Beautiful spot right on the river, if you don’t want to venture to the river, the gravel pit is also available, as campers were parked there. We manage our fifth wheel down by the river, just use the first path in, the second is tighter and rough. We are staying another night. Don’t block the trail to the water, guides use it to launch and pick up their river boats.

We stayed for one night in our tent during our cycle tour. It was busy until dusk with people going to watch the sunset, but then got quiet at night. There was no bathroom at the parking, but there is one on the trail a few hundred metres from the parking. We set up our tent under the covered picnic shelter.

Interesting and well build botanical garden. Much more than just a few plants. We had an English speaking guide who could tell interesting things about the park, plants, birds, insects etc. She dissapeared at the end without expecting a tip.
We spend 2,5 hours in the park and we could have easily spend more time.

Directly after the border there is a small river where there isbplenty of space to camp. In the evening sheep may pass by and in the morning you could see fishermen in the distance. The border police guided us to this place and we could call them whenever we have a problem. Also a bridge for people is there, which is totally broken, but used by the locals. Brave ones can cross it

Still free. Pit toilet and paved roads. Deer and cows roaming through. Bit of trash but not terrible. Beautiful area.

Great campsite with room for 2 or 3 vehicles. Two fire rings. You cross Ophir Creek to enter, but it was only a few inches deep at the water crossing when we were there. Not recommended for rigs over 35’ or long trailers.

Old provincial park area at Mawley Lake. 2019 it was return to Crown land, but still in use. 5 spots available, fire pit, outhouse, boat launch and small beach.
Stayed here for two days. Quiet, large lake. Walleye fishing if you have a boat.

Great view! Pretty well maintained gravel road. Low traffic spot. Made it up in our 2wd van. Mt Rainier visible! Saw a couple other decent spots on the way up. Had service with AT&T.

Nice a quiet. Minor highway noise but the ocean and wind drown it out. A little bumpy getting back here. Close to the beach.

After trying several other spots in the area we came up empty handed and came here. There was no one else here which we were surprised about. Nice place for the nice if you have no other options.

There are actually quite a few sleeping spots along the road, if you go past the church you can take any spot by road you want and have the quietest night, since all of the roads are dead ends. There wasn't a single car passing by the whole time! We had to settle for a grassy spot beside the road just above the church because the rest of the road was blocked by cows. Still big enough for a car and a tent.

This place is great. I’m here on a weekday and there’s very few people here. Mostly people who pretty much live at campgrounds are here. It’s quite and I feel safe. Also, Just to comment about the road. I drive a front wheel drive minivan and had no issues on the road. There are potholes and a few of them are a little rough. You’ll be fine as long as you drive slowly.

Arrived at 1 am, hiked 100 meters down a path, threw up the tent in an open area just back from the beach and left at 6 am. No issues, convenient stop on the way to Gaspesie from Montreal.
