Caught the ferry across from chawara to fothergill to avoid a long rough drive in.
Lovely campsites with good breeze from the lake early morning and late evening.

Dry camping at county fairgrounds. $20/night. Although there was a QR code provided upon entrance, it didn’t work. Was able to pay with envelopes provided at box.
Great place to stay overnight. A few spots along the edge were creek side with picnic tables.

We just topped off our drinking water tank. No issues.

There were 4 overnight car campers in the parking lot. This isn’t technically allowed but it’s 8 am and they definitely were here overnight. Just saying in case someone is in a pinch for a place to sleep at night.

Very nice and relaxed owners. Camping has a swimming pool, playroom/resting area, small shop. Every site has its own toilet and shower/bath. Braai is also available for every site.
We paid R320 per site per night.

Get there early before they sell out, and be sure to get a cinnamon roll:)

This is the most wonderful campground we have found so far on the Baja peninsula. If you are looking for a place with services and not just roughing it. Clean, has everything you would want, friendly.

Excelente estrutura. Local muito bonito e perto do centro. Tem água, luz, internet, banheiros, quiosques, campo de futebol, descarte de água negra, cozinha comunitária e local gramado.

Street parking in front of dump station, very close to waterfront. All other street parking in this area now has clear “No overnight parking” signs.

Wonderfull wild camp on the beach. Able to big rig. Nice view on wales' dancing all along the day. Good place to walking fishing sea food. Really quiet at night. Lot of wind !!! #patagonia...

Was kicked out of the dirt parking lot near the Sinclair. Guy told me to go here. Cars aren't super loud. Lights stay on all night in the parking lot
