played disc golf then stayed overnight in the parking lot by hole 1. not visible from the road. had a small campfire. you can go up even further up the road and there are a few hiking and biking trails and clear spots where people are camping overnight.

Informal campsite off the judith ln trailhead. Nice and quiet overnight. informal campsite, spotted the fire ring off trail. follows the DEC primitive camping guidelines. Next to featherstonhaugh lake, good for fishing!

Couldn’t find any other places to camp out while passing through the area. Nearby Walmart has multiple no rv/truck parking signs up, so I took the risk to try it here. I had the biggest sigh of relief when I saw a sign for truck and RV parking! A few other RV’s were parked here for the night too. Right off the highway, so there is a bit of highway noise, nothing terrible though. 2 bars of Verizon service and 1 bar of FirstNet here. Back spots are shaded. So grateful for this quick spot to park and rest at for the night. Hope this helps!

Super quaint spot to stop for water, I could see in the summer people playing music here. Water is clean and looks like sometimes they have fresh eggs plants and fruit to purchase. Able to pull right up to spigot. On paved surface. Good cell reception. Good water pressure. Donation slot is on top of spigot box.

Several places to park. Some with picnic tables and fire pits. The lake was pretty and there were some fishing. Good stop over place. Near I-94. I have AT&T and phone service was poor.

We camped here in the grassy field across the lane way from the chemical toilet. A few dog walkers, but no one bothered us. Nice, quiet, and dark.

This place is near perfect for at least a single night stay. About 1,000 ft in the entry the parking lot is hidden by trees and very spacious. Only saw one other vehicle enter and turned around as soon as they saw my van. VZW is 2-3 bars and decent. Jefferson, NH is just down the road. No signs, no gates, no reason to not use this space.

A nice pullout along the road. There are many pullouts available which are semi-secluded and quiet. A decent amount of car traffic on the road, but night was quiet. Road was bit bumpy on the way up with a couple deep ruts but nothing too difficult to handle.

Pretty view of the river but basically right on the main road. I think had we been on a week night it might have been fine but since it was Satueday night, the cars never seemed to quiet down. Felt a little vulnerable even though we tucked ourselves back into the wooded area. Had no issues though and woke up to a wicked sunrise! Used the coordinates that one of the previous comments shared and found it easily. Saw a deer!

This place is a friends place, they just started a co-op farm very neat and they are very open in helping anyone that might need a place to stay for the night in their van during summer time. They have great veggies to grab for the road!

Small turn out by the road. Slept here a night and no one bothered me. Beautiful ocean sounds and enough room to let my dog out on her chain. Watch small children as there’s a steep ledge to the ocean.
2-3 bars T-mobile and 2-3 bars of Verizon which was adequate to work off of doing VOIP calls.

Nobody there. Everything closed. They charged 15 $ and opened one bathroom with shower for us and never cleaned it . We stayed four nights and nobody was cared about us. The one señorita in the kitchen (for what?) does not have a clue about anything. So we had to organize everything ourselves. Felt a little bit alone. Pool had no water, trails were closed by gates very sad. Wifi only at the reception, electricity with a 30 meter extension cord.

Thought we might be cold here but we were alright. Stayed in the first spot with a fire pit because I read about the bears and got nervous about our dogs but we did see a couple others a little ways in.

Would recommend ! As the others said !! Nice staff, cheap, wifi, grocery just beside, coffee shop in the mall (opened just on weekdays) :)

Great lot. Big, empty, right on the water. Almost full bars for Verizon.

Great water spigot, recommend backing your camper in because the water hose there is only about 3ft long.

public bathroom, open 9:30am - 5:30pm (8am - 5:30pm for farmers market). much cleaner than the other public restroom

Campsite 11 is the last site by the red gate, clean no trash, rock fire pit, plenty dead wood around, ground is rocky so clear an area where you post up a tent or bring a sleeping pad, its away from the other campsites so you have some privacy. Show up before the weekend for availability, most people clear out by noon….. don’t show up at night to be disappointed. We came in Thursday morning 9/23/21 packed out Saturday morning 9/25/21.

Well travelled snowmobile/4x4 trail. Small clearing, not scenic but good for a rig for the night.
