This is a fabulous spot. There are multiple spots to choose from with fire pits. very secluded feeling. Would stay again :)

The area is a multi complex of Hospitals, market, university and restaurants..

Right below the highway. Good spot to start your weekend but very loud highway traffic. Semis doing engine breaks all night. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

Beautiful spot right at the coast. There were 2 RVs. Loved it.

Beautiful place to spend the time, BUT it became way more expensive. For a full day you‘ll need to pay 60€. Parking daylight is 30€ and sleeping there is another 30€. So keep that in mind.

Spent 4 nights camping in Chitengo. The camp site I had is shaded on dirt, there are limited shaded spots though and there are some not very nice sites close to the ablutions with almost no shade. It seems the priority here has become the tented camp. There are power points. Communal fire and free fire wood at this stage. Unfortunately no self drives, so that makes it expensive to see the park. Ablutions are great!

booking compulsory with Kwalate since always fully booked, many visitors don't show up though, maybe possibility to come and enquire if empty spot for the night. Price for 2 internationals = 550 pulas.
For 1 night camping within the park, necessity to get a 2-day permit (for 2 internationals with car 580p).
Worth it.

It's very expensive to stay overnight, you have to pay 12 pesos per hour! The man at the gate calculated wrong, be aware.

Good place to stop with picnic tables. Busy during the day with local boaters in the weekend. No toilets. Many other RVs here. Someone will come around with an envelope and leave it on your car for camping fee. There is a box in front of the church to leave it.

Loves Gas station. They have a dump station and non potable water. it costs $10 to use, but available if you are in a pinch.

there are several spots already marked. this one is not on the wall edge but in the middle of the prairie.

Nice campsite direct on lake with hippos walking in front of you. Campsite fenced. Friendly staff. Good hot showers. Droptoilet dark and dirty. Very good bicycles available and close to Hells Gate NP.

loving the view. ATT signal is not great. 3 bars but difficult to send text. Breezy. I feel like king of the hill.

Nice area with designated spots. Road in has dips and washes but manageable. Weak but usable Verizon LTE

Road looks blocked off for the season but you don’t find out until you get to the end… you might be able to just park anywhere but we didn’t want to risk it & didn’t see anyone to ask….

The coliseum is now finished, but the place to park is still available, it is close to a restaurant and bar but the level music is low, and it is safe and quite. Also, water is available in the parking lot. We stayed there two nights and everything was perfect.
