Don't require a park past for the Historical site. Only need to pay money to enter the lighthouse. The same for Signal Hill, I do have a Discovery Park pass, worth it if you're travelling across Canada as it gives you access to a bunch of things such as:
- free access to the light house
- free access to the Signal Hill discovery center and theatre.

Also don't have to worry about paying for any other day visit fees at other National parks.

City park that allows free camping. Picnic shelters with trash and grills. Flush toilets in restroom building. Playground and 9 hole disc golf course.

Road to this is pretty difficult if muddy. Would not recommend for vehicles without four wheel drive, washboards and mud and very slippery. That said the end location is a really sweet spot next to some water. But no T-Mobile phone service. Did not stay overnight.

you're not allowed to camp in the park any more, we were banned in a bad way by the guard, very unfriendly people surrounded by small restaurants with people drinking alcohol with loud music. we decided move to another place.

Amazing! All by ourselves with a beautiful mountain behind us and a clean pit toilet. No Verizon. One other person showed up as we were leaving.

Estávamos em dois Motorhomes e passamos duas noites no estacionamento! Noite tranquila e segura. Fomos no final de semana e a noite tinha movimento dos restaurantes na frente mas sem muito barulho. Durante o dia tem mais carros no estacionamento e tinha um cara que nos cobrou R$10 por carro, apesar de ser um estacionamento municipal. Mas recomendamos muito, da para ir andando para o centro.

We were in two Motorhomes and spent two nights in the parking lot! Quiet and safe night. We went on the weekend and at night there was movement from the restaurants in front but without much noise. During the day there are more cars in the parking lot and there was a guy who charged us R$10 per car, despite being a municipal parking lot. But we recommend it a lot, very close to walk to the center.

Drove through around 2:30pm. Most campsites were taken & unlevel. Roads look like after a heavy rain it would be muddy. Don't forget your Discover Pass.

The 2 sites at the city park are shady and have flush toilets available. They are free for one night only. Found out the 5 sites down the street are private property.

A very good site. So green and calm.
Power and water. People so kind.

camping closed for winter to protect port Orford cedar trees. Even via motorcycle couldn't go around gate. Best to stay away to protect the trees.

Awesome spot! Someone was there when we pulled up and you can probably fit two vans but no privacy and not much room to turn around.
Recommend 4x4 and high clearance

Very nice rest area! Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. This side of the Gorge is so much quieter than the OR side! The trucks use the OR side because that’s the side where all the truck stops are.
There’s a really nice paved trail if you walk closer to the water. It goes around in a short loop with a few viewpoints.
Pet friendly & there are doggie bags.

Small parking along the road. Fresh free water from the mountain.

Got a tent site for the night after exiting YNP. Room to park our Sprinter Van next to $25 tent site so didn't have to pay extra for RV site. Got $2 off at the hot spring next door. what a nice treat after a week of camping and boondocking.

Dump and potable water is free with $15 park entry fee. ($10 for Nevada residents).

All spots full when i got here so parked in an area by the fence where it looked like others had. I went a ways down the road past the point or it being more high clearance and the sand got super soft and deep so i got stuck. Thankfully 4wdL
Very quiet

Called ahead and confirmed overnights are allowed, and got the thumbs up. Though there isn't much room, so we just went to the Walmart 10 mins north.

great spot to stay for the night. Close to i80. Only a couple other cars in the area.

Walmart parking lot, not very noisy, lots of space in front of the garden section. Green spaces for dogs, but some trash in the grass. Pretty quite, Walmart closes at 11 pm but staff said it was ok to sleep here

Parking place is average, not very remarkable. A bit before, close to the fountain, there are better spots.

Good food and great service. Adventure activities and a bar and grill. Very dog friendly and even has a dog menu to order from. Our dog loved it! Great patio area with TVs for sports fans. We will be back!

Rooftop restaurant on top of her home, or in her dining room if it's raining! Fantastic home cooked Indian food. You must order at least 5 hours in advance so that she can cook it fresh. Best gulab jamun I have ever had! +255688707070

Nice little gravel spot next to a small road next to the lake. Very quiet (oktober) but it might be busier in summer season.

No longer overnight big rig friendly, they have a bunch of bus parking and some single stall parking now.
