Numerous sites along forest road just south of Plaskett Creek campground. The best sites are on top of the ridge. It's a bumpy drive but we made it in our 2WD pickup. Noticed numerous tent sites closer to hwy 1.

the camping is now free but with no service . only running water from some tape near parilla places.

Very nice campsite with clean private ablutions. You have an overview of the whole area and stunning views from all 3 places.
200 pppn. A restaurant (to be booked in advance) with a bar is also available as well as a small pool.
We did a small (5km) hiking tour on our own and a 4x4 route is also available.

Directly on the beach. Just beside the ferry terminal. A little outdated facilities BUT all services and facilities. Not bad of a spot

Very nice place. Well maintained. Stunning view from sunrise spot. Hot shower only limited hours so make sure you know this timeframe otherwise you get a cold shower. Expensive but if you stay more days you can negotiate a discount.

Great place. Stopped for lunch and a nap after sight seeing all day. No signs saying you can’t stay over night.

Away from hotel. Ablutions are fine and clean.

Very nice. Everything clean. We planned one night, but stayed 4. Kitchen and fridges available. TL 100 2 pers. motorbike, tent, per night.

Pretty steep climb but the skoolie did it and seems like a really nice top trail head but there are no camping signs . 3 bars of Verizon

Good vibe here chatting it up with the Colombian travelers. It's also a pizzeria. The locals invited us to play Ultimate Frisbee which was good times. If I could travel back in time I'd ask the pizzeria to not play music starting at 7:30 am, they might have agreed. A nice view on Santa Marta. Bathroom is passable. shower is fine. they're building a pool.

Clean but old showers so whenever someone flushes it gets cold for a sec but not badly. Water pressure is good and can be hot hot if you want it. Easy to get a good temperature though. A bench to sit on and hooks to hang things. Decent room, didn't feel tight but not huge. Women's had two loofas, a razor, and a used bar of soap available. Don't know their story but there if you need em I guess. Also has toilets. Not very busy when I went

great place, quiet and nice once you get here, a little rough rd but doable with 2wd and a trailer. great TMobile service. few scratchy caterers on the way but felt very safe.

Overnight parking and camping. Dirt road, with sites all around. some more level than others. I get 2-3 bars on Verizon, with my signal booster.

If you are willing to stay farther away from beach access, you get a pretty spacious flat camp spot in Oregon nature (ferns and sand and Spruce). Nice respite in a beautiful, but crowded, part of the Earth.

Fantastic view of the canyon, especially for the sunset. Large parking lot accommodating a few « tenants ». Fairly level. No sign prohibiting overnight stays. Garbage cans on site but no toilet.

Municipal parking. Possible to stay 24h and be able to see the lake.

Beautiful sites with amazing views right along the edge of the canyon. Super dark nighttime views. Can’t believe this site isn’t more popular. We kept driving past the coordinate listed above until we found a spot we liked. Highly recommend.

Agree, very tranquil spot with friendly owner and staff. We paid 1000 KSH pp, standard rate in Kenya. Owner wants to expand on facilities for campsite. Felt very welcome.

The county webpage seems to say that reservations are now required, but the signage still allows you to claim an open spot and Ay in the morning. On a Saturday night, arriving at 9 pm, there were still a fair number of open spaces. Just fine for an overnight before an early pickup at LAX in the morning.

New lodge near the main road. Clean rooms for 200 Kwacha.
Hot water, fridge, fan, but no AC, no restaurant.
Big secure parking.

It’s a small Walmart. Not a Supercenter. We parked close the road and it’s quite a lot after 11 pm

Spacious, comfortable campsite with electricity & own gazebo with water sink, benches, light. Especially in the weekend there are people coming here to party and evade curfew. They are going to change the setup so camping people and party people don’t get in each others ways. ‘Rasta’ is also a perfect guide for Lake Nakuru NP. Knows a lot and pleasant company. Lots of wildlife in the beautiful park.

We asked permission to park behind Querencia restaurant. They were very nice and very welcoming. It’s a big lot and it’s quiet. You don’t hear the cars much from the main road when behind the restaurant. They also have an outdoor toilet and you can refill your water from their water hose. Just ask permission. WiFi inside the restaurant and plus they have really good food.
