This spot is AMAZING. It's just outside of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, so the landscape is very similar to the national park! We drove to the top spot, but it was already taken by a large bus, so we turned around and picked a spot farther down that was still beautiful. Almost full bars Verizon without a booster. Cows are everywhere... which means cow pie everywhere too, but it didn't bother us much + we didn't notice the smell in our van. The cows surrounded our van around night time and then head down the valley during the day. We loved it! Also we found a petrified tree trunk!Highly recommend this spot!

A wonderful campsite and a jewel that should not be missed. Cost r364.00 for two per night.
As mentioned above a long electrical cord is required.
Highly recommend.

Next to the parish church of Mucuge, next to the military police base, there is water at the tap in the square, without power points. Quiet location near the city center

Pull out on gravel shoulder. Beautiful view of the lake. Probably only one or two parking spots that are flat. Lots of walkers coming and going but very quiet at night. No one seemed to mind we were there. Stayed one night.

Great camp site, with greater views. As with any dispersed camping it’s best to drive in a few miles before staking a spot. Fire rings everywhere and it looks like they’re building it out back here and plowing more spaces with tractors. 2 bars with Verizon.

great spot, pulled up late in desperate need of a spot for the night, felt totally safe, a pretty lowkey area nothing going on through the night, just make sure to check in with the hotel/casino & park in the gravel lot

Sharp right and up @15’ is a fire ring and a nice spot. Suppose you could put a tent up. We were happy in the SUV. Quiet as can be. Very secluded. Great night sleep.

Small boat launch off of a town road. A couple of vehicles can be here without infringing on fishermen using launch. One bar of ATT service.

Campsite off FR525, far enough off the road to cut down on dust and noise. The bonus is there are beautiful views of the red rocks of the Sedona area. Mildly rough road to get here but made it with no problems in our front wheel drive Promaster. It does get busy here on weekends.

Nice restaurant, atmosphere with flair, very friend staff who speaks English and "Opa" as well German.
The food is just delicious (only vegetarian meals) and we also could order some Falaffel plate which is not on the menu and the owner created it only for us ;)
Blues music was played (at least when we were there) - it fits to the atmosphere!
We really enjoyed our meal - we had soup, main dish and dessert with drinks!

Large and open yet has great trees and awesome view of Kloochman Rock. No access to river but plenty to discover walking around. Site is on land used by cattle farmers but I didn't see any cattle and think it's seasonal. Forest road gets some car traffic due to lots of other dispersed sites in the area
. There is cell service. Overall, I great spot and good for large parties. Roads are very easy to drive for 2wd sedan. Enjoy!

A simple spot on a beach in front of the small island.

access isn't easy and require a both 4*4 and high clearance :
the track to Tamara lodge (few kilometers further, and not accessible by car yet) is bad and rocky.
We made the path from the track to the beach and ad to use low gear to be on a flat area.

We asked local people if we could stay here.
women came to have a bath in the evening and wash dishes in the morning.
fishermen in front of the shore at night.
Nicely, all of them saw us and ignored us or warmly welcomed us!

Bad point : the beach isn't very clean...

we didn't had chance to get fresh fish from local fishermen.

cell phone reception.

Many thanks to the people who reviewed this place. We stayed here for a few days and left October 3 rd. We were somewhat concerned because there was a notice that the main road closes on October 1st. The South Gate was still closed due to vandalism. Lovely spot. Nice gravel roads. Lots of camping spots. Few folks here this time of year. It does require a Washington State Discover Pass, which we purchased online for $35. Would definitely come here again but it seems like the fall would be the best time.

right off the freeway, just a gravel patch, we didn’t camp here we hung out here in the morning waiting for the scenic parkway to open, Yurok is right down the road & we slept (felt super safe) there so if you couldn’t sleep here just head there, the road is right next to you but not a lot of traffic & no ‘no camping’ signs
