Quick road condition update, on 2 wheels, no issues in either directions, with heavy rains you came expect landslides, we were lucky the last one was in the process of being cleared…
As far as 4 wheels… definitely high clearance! Seems the logging trucks have beaten the road up pretty bad in the muddy sections, on the 5kms after the pavement stops on the RioSucio side. I don’t drive vans but it sure looks like it could be challenging without 4x4.

We are here offseason and it's so peaceful! $30 E&W. There's a dump station at the exit. Sign states for camp guests only. There are restrooms and showers, but we didn't use them. There's a great hiking path around the lake, and also biking paths. Cell service was not reliable on TMobile or Verizon. Check-in is 2, check out is 12. Sites have a bbq, and picnic table.

Super helpful and nice! Back door and buzzer was broken so we went inside and asked the cashier for assistance. He radioed for someone to meet us out back, and they filled us up. We filled two 5lb tanks for $12.

Kind of lake inside the country where fishers come with their kayak. Bird's watching in the field. No sign of no parking
Bel endroit pour le kayak. Moins de vagues que sur la mer. Les pêcheurs viennent ici avec leur kayak. Observation des oiseaux dans les champs.

I find the Souk of Akkari to be the most pleasant souk (=market) in Rabat. It is relatively easy to find a parking space there. The quality of the products is good, the selection is sufficient and the prices are ok. Freshly caught fish is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

A great stop for an unexpected raclette for lunch. It was actually pretty good and we were missing cheese so we couldn’t resist. See photo for menu. Very nice people. The owner is Salvadorian but traveled to Swiss and liked it.

Well stocked RV parts store. Stopped in to get a propane regulator and the manager, Danette, was super helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Even though their mechanic was booked a month and a half out she was able to help modify a mounting bracket to replace our failed regulator. Rare service this day and age.

Best place ever! A billon stars hotel. Totally wind protected. No facilities, easy to find the access once you see the little abandoned house. Totally flat surface and quite hidden from the road.

Yes, the sign ON THE OTHER SIDE of the lake (not at the entrance) says one person in your party (up to 4 persons) has to have the habitat stamp (HVAC). I think it is the same stamp as the one you buy when purchasing a fishing license. So not everyone needs to buy it, just 1 person.

Nice lake, saw someone with 4 trout, lots of overflowing trash bins, and rock fire rings. Water is a pretty Aqua-ish color.

Beautiful campground! The trees are so lovely!
I was the only one there (someone came but left after an hour) and then I left after a few hours as the bugs were so bad, even with strong bug spray. Mosquitos were staying out of my RV as I had peppermint candles burning inside but every time I stepped outside, I was swarmed and they were getting me through my clothing. Come prepared.. this campground is amazing and wish I could have stayed longer!

Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge #58.
As mentioned by others there are 83 designated campsites in the refuge and they are shown on a map at information kiosks. There is also a printed flyer with the map on it; hard to read. Best of all, GaiaGPS (Gaia Topo layer) shows the campsites.
This site is right next to #59, that doesn’t show on Gaia.
Plenty of room to turn our truck camper & trailer around. Parked under some trees next to a fire ring. 1 bar Verizon, LTE. It had rained during the day, so we got some mud on the tires in a soft spot.
Crossed an intermittent stream to get here, so mud and water could be an issue during the rainy season.

Suspension mechanic came recommended and Josue (Fili’s son I think) did a great job diagnosing and fixing our clunking wheel after 2 other mechanics in other cities could not. The shop is usually quite busy, might help to call ahead. Their info is on Google. Reasonably priced, gave a receipt. Good place to go for brake, wheel, suspension issues!

After being told I could not camp at the lake campground because I had a dog, I stopped at this Balneario and asked if I could camp. At first she said no but when I asked again she said yes. There are 2 nice dogs here. Way up in the mountains and 2 big pools. So thankful after being led way out of the way by google maps.

Really pleasant stay here. It appears most of the snowbirds have gone home, so it was relatively empty. We couldn’t find somewhere cheaper with secure parking. Expensive (500 pesos per site, not willing to budge on price but if you have a friend, you can share a spot), although after much wild camping, it was a glorious night with no dogs barking, no roosters, no traffic noise. Washrooms we’re spotless and shower was the best I’ve had in a long time, super hot!

Posto estava sem água, não sendo possível tomar banho, limpar o porta Poti ou usar os sanitários pois os mesmos estavam imundos. Abastecemos para ter estas facilidades mas não valeu a pena. A internet. Vivo não funciona, preço do diesel bom, lanchonete/restaurante razoável. Não compensa.
