I didn't have internet to be able to see the pictures but I couldn't find this place either. There is no sign to distinguish the location, only a sign indicating "Antigua Ruta 175." No point in calling as I only speak a little Spanish.

Not really quiet because of the busy road. When the sound of one car dies away another appears. Calms down between midnight and 6am. A selection of places available along the river all out of sight from the road but none far enough away to really be quiet. Nobody else here and nothing to attract anyone except someone needing camp for the night. Big patch of grass near the river for a tent.

After considering every other possibility between the Colorado border and Casper we selected this one and got exactly what we were looking for: peace and quiet. Close enough for convenience yet far enough off the freeway where noise is not a factor. Very peaceful night and dark, starry sky. Windy upon arriving and it shut down at sundown. Thankfully, AC/DC Joel and his fireworks were not here. Huge area and lots of dispersed camping opportunities. 2 bars AT&T

Stayed first 4 nights, first policeman didn't care just wrote our name, passport number and immatriculation. Peaceful.

Asked us if you've got banos.

We came each night at 8pm, 9pm and some few going out and in, they didn't say anything but when we came back just for one night each time we go out, they asked us where we're we etc...
They don't want you to use the trashbin and drink alcohol but if you discuss with them maybe it will pass.
Still free.

Great spot! We pulled in around 9 at night and there were still plenty of spots. 3 other RVs/vans were here also.

We hardly ever stay at RV Parks or private campgrounds (preferring to be secluded & out in nature), but Don Taco is SUCH a gem that we spent 4 nights here & easily could have stayed more! Only room for about 4 vans/RVs & maybe 8 tents, so it’s quite small, very laidback, never noisy. 250p/night for 2 people in a van.

Strong wifi, clean showers, small outdoor kitchen, tables for working, palapas for hanging out on the beach. Access right onto the sand a few steps from your door, beautiful clear/calm water for swimming, excellent snorkelling— the best spot is about 3min down the beach in front of the restaurants, but even straight out front is good! Saw heaps of stingrays, spotted rays, eagle rays, sea turtles, millions of colourful fish. Don’t miss this spot!!!

We slept one night here after crossing the US boarder in Loredo. The information offices provides with nice welcome to Texas package, with event calendar, Texas map, stikers and travel Texas guide! Thanks to them! Toilets are very clean, spot it's a bit noisy, but normal when you know it's between the motorway and the railway..

Intimidating inspection with a drug dog by two men in military fatigues and an older man in a polo shirt with some official logo. We were held up for over 30 minutes. It felt like one nice guy who spoke a little English was really trying to distract us from watching the other guys while they inspected our van and filled out their paperwork. I was directly told not to take photos. It felt very off, and we hope there is not another checkpoint ahead to prove us right!

Exit CR. Save the hassle and a few extra dollars by paying your exit tax from Costa Rica online. Exit stamp at immigration. Can suspend or cancel TIP at aduana. Easy smooth process.

Enter Panama. Slow going bureaucratic process with no lines Only waiting on officials. Despite filling out required health pass for Panama online and receiving QR code in email, staff wanted a paper copy with all the dates of vaccinations and QR code as apparently they can’t scan the code. Copy shop down the hill (big yellow sign) was very helpful in getting proof off our phones onto paper. Onto immigration, stamped in. Buy insurance before going to aduana for TIP. 30 days given. $6 for fumigation. Pulled van into fumigation area and got sprayed then brief inspection.

Can highly recommend them. Communication was always prompt, no hidden or surprise charges and clearance went smoothly. They also organized Mercosur insurance for us.

Please note they are no longer at this address, the new address is Sarandi 675 Office 502. It is near Plaza Independencia.

a large Eventos area where they have lots of weddings and birthday parties. nice place kind of up in the mountains so it's a little cooler, but not much. the old owner was very friendly and showed us immediately where everything was and seemed genuinely happy to have visitors. he speaks some English. he asked for 20 dollars, but I said that the previous post says 250L (which is half the price) and he agreed. I talked to the owners grandson (who also speaks English) through the Facebook page for this place, because the number listed is not a WhatsApp number, to confirm the gate would be open and we could stay. no problems. when we arrived the owner said, "at night, when you stay here, this place is yours. In the morning when you leave, you give it back". lots of space for a few big rigs. no height or width restrictions. shady areas to hang out during the day but we were only staying for the night. an excellent place to stop in Honduras if you don't want to cross two borders in one day. dog friendly!

Beautiful peninsula with two established fire pits and a few beaches. Nice gravel road with several flat areas to park. Dispersed camping allowed with $10 permit good for 3 days. Haven’t seen another human soul in two days, but did see a large flock of ducks (over 50) yesterday evening hunting their dinner. Lovely spot! Definitely would come back. Purchase camping permits online, link provided. Oh, and decent T-Mobile cell service too!

Un lugar mágico entre las montañas, servicios básicos pero vale la pena la hermosa vista y despertarte con ese paisaje. Baños, ducha con agua caliente, parrilla. La atención de Romero es lo mejor, muy servicial y atento.

AMAZING spot right on lake mead. It’s about 3 miles down a gravel dirt road. It’s not bad but it just takes a while. My 1995 econoline made it going pretty slow. Great cell service with Verizon. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. I passed a bathroom on the way, though not sure the condition of the toilets. Lots of trash though so please pick up after yourself!! Highly recommend this spot though.

Typical Cracker Barrel RV spots and location noise. Called and confirmed it was okay to stay. Advised they were not responsible after closing time.

There were lots of trucks and big camper rigs when we pulled in. We had a good night of relative quiet. Walmart is open 6am-11pm except Tues when it doesn’t open ‘til 7am. We bought ice for our coolers at $1.79.

Great place to camp on the beach. Porta potty and garbage cans available. Stay on hard packed sand. A number of RVs got stuck during our stay. Water shallow by the beach with breakers…

Really nice place to overnight. You can stay next to the lake with beautiful views on the lake and the snowy mountains. At the end of march not busy at all, quiet, cold at night and in the morning.
