Pulled right up to the window and they used their hose to fill our tank! The water came out super fast! We got about 30 gallons in less than 2 minutes for 120 pesos. People working here we’re very kind!

Stay in the truck stop for free - it does get busy and fills up. Food and wifi at the casino!!

Absolutely Beautiful Cactus Forest! Many camp spots, we were west side of the road with 2 vehicles w trailers. Great spot. I saw large rigs and busses also found space. Private and peaceful. Mountain views both east and west. Great cell service and about 25 minutes to town....I will be back!!

Spent 6 nights. Great place to relax on the beach. Well positioned pool looking on to the lake. Camping 10pppn. Restaurant and bar but eating here is expensive. Recommended

Jan and Roze are very friendly. You are with animals : horses, chickens, cats. It’s difficult to find the but don’t hesitate to ask the neighbours. You can call them before arriving .

Nice shady place. Antonio is a really nice guy. They have had virtually zero guests due to covid and are slowly getting things back togther. Paid 1000met for the night. He'll fire up the Donkey for hot water, but you can also shower after the suns been up for a couple hours and it's hot.
The beach that's 5mins away is amazing. Went snorkeling in the bay at low tide and it's full of fish. Not sure why the review below said it's near the lagoon, it's not. 4x4 needed.

The river place doesn’t exist anymore so we took the road up which ends at this sand pit. Nothing much to look at, but you can walk 10 steps to a view of the river. Need 4x4 and high clearance to get up the rocky road. No one disturbed us. Limited cell signal - you can walk up the hill for better signal. Some shepherds around but they leave you alone.

Not visible from road but can slightly hear it. There is a stagnant pool nearby from sand pit so there are mozzies at dusk and dawn
