We thought this was a camping spot.
NOT A CAMPSITE ANY MORE.
Girls booked into a room and I was allowed to sleep in my RTT outside the room.
Great pub and
FOOD IS AMAZING! Try the fillet steak!

The "gate" (fence) was open. No problem to park near to the river. A couple of meters of sand but no 4x4 required to cross if you follow the path.

Nice spot. Dirt road, couple fisherman at one of the pull offs, left at sunset. No one else came around overnight. Can hear and see the highway. Great spot to stop for one night while passing through. Camped with a 136 promaster van and would stay again.

Free parking, outhouse dirty but it’s secluded for a quiet place to go in emergency

Excellent Vet! Dr Ellie Dibildox was very friendly and knowledgeable. She speaks English. My dog was in great hands and comfortable. She did a thorough examination as we got him in Mexico. She can supply a pet passport and letter for international borders. Highly recommend!

Nice area in the jungle with lots of wildlife and the perfect place if you want to get away from the tourist crowds at the coast.

Armando is a just a lovely host and went above and beyond to connect us with a mechanic since we where having some trouble with our car.

There are a few zenotes in the area and some hiking trails. All within walking distance. And if you happen to have a motocross bike with you, I’m sure Armando will be happy to let you ride around his own little trail in the backyard. 😃

All the facilities (as described by previous posts) are brand new and very clean.
Would absolutely recommend!

Went here to get our brakes checked and change fluid. (VW Vanagon) First we where told we have to get the brake fluid ourselves. Little strange, but not the first time that we had to bring our own „parts“ in Mexico.
Then, they found out that a cylinder was broken and needed to be replaced. They had that part delivered (which would’ve worked with the fluid too I guess?) to them.
So far so good.
The problems started when we picked up the car. They handed me over my can of brake fluid which they used about 100ml. (To flush the old brake fluid out you need at least 800ml)
I asked them 3 times if they really really changed the fluid and they said they did. I doubt it until this day.
When we drove off I noticed that two screws which hold the dashboard where loose. No big deal, I screwed it back on, but bad craftsmanship.
After this, we got on the highway to Tulum. About half way the brake system was overheating and I couldn’t build up enough pressure. Had to stop, called the manager and told her what happened. She wasn’t impressed at all.
After that I lost all trust. Went to a different mechanic which fixed all the wrong doing of mr. mechanic (the brake shoes where tightened to much, so we where basically braking all the time while driving 80km/h)

So in a nutshell: It was an easy job, they screwed up pretty bad, it got dangerous for us and others and they didn’t care at all.

Found the slope of the lot, the twisty layout of the lot and the busyness of the casino to be a bad fit and went elsewhere. We’re in a 34’ motorhome with a toad.

Large dirt lot with mostly level parking on the west side of the casino. Many motorhomes, travel trailers, vans and 5th wheels here. No amenities other than easy access. Restaurant, gas, etc, nearby.

Rolled in about 8:30p. Parked along the tree line next to the highway and directly behind the church. Peaceful night, no knocks, easy to find. The highway noise was minimal but present. There is a gas station near by. The church bell chimes on the hour, so it helped me tell the time a few times in the dark. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice spot for the night. Right off road to other BLM campsites. Fire pit. Good views. Can see other campers down the road at other BLM sites. Cell service still available.

Perfect overnight spot after "Airport Pickup". Airport is only a mile away. There are 28 total parallel parking spots (groups of 4) along the walking path. Lots of traffic, constant helicopter racket, airport noise, ship traffic...BUT, the bayside views are spectacular. Many parking spots were filled overnight but we had our choice of at least 10 different spots. We sat there until after 10AM, after walking the length of the island. No parking enforcement while we were there. Great spot which we'll likely use again.

Definitely a bit of trash on the ground but once you look past that it’s a gorgeous little spot. Very quite dead end road but the best part is getting to listen to the river babble all night. I stayed overnight and had no problems, houses farther up to road look nice nothing to sketchy

Awesome and uge beach dispersed campground! Leveled and big rig friendly! Cell network is ok but because it’s on the border of Utah and Arizona, the clock changes by itself back and forth on cell phones! But nevertheless, recommend this awesome spots!

We got here today and the Edge of the World route from the paved road is now closed by the government. We found the Ranger that guards the gate and let us know about the new government plans about the place. Instead the 4x4 truck that is used by the tour operators is still open. High clearance and a proper 4x4 vehicle is a must if you wanna go that way. A bit tricky to find but Google maps can help you.

Entrance to the edge of the world. 4x4 only 24.91966, 46.18370
