Very nice campsite on a kind of penninsula in the lake. Few locals coming by for fishing in the afternoon. Morning fog on the lake looks amazing. Ablutions look creepy from outside but are extremely clean inside and get cleaned every day. We had free firewood lying around, don't know if it is always there.

The only thing is the workers of the houses close to who are noisy and park their cars at this spot in the morning at 7 am 😅

4x4 specialists, especially Land Rover. I needed a front wheel bearing replacing on my Discovery 2 after a months holiday off roading in Albania, rung them up this morning and asked if they had the part and could do it the same day. Yes they had the part and no problem could fit today!! They have English speaking staff at the office and Dari, one of the mechanics also speaks good English. Got there at lunchtime and less than two hours later the job was completed, car road tested and good to go. Absolutely fantastic service and excellent value. These guys are real Land Rover specialists and they know their stuff. If you're travelling with a Land Rover in Albania and need work these are the guys to go to, very highly recommended.

As described, just a large gravel parking area with a mini Bad Lands vibe to it.

Private w/ AC & bathroom 247q. Couldn’t find anything cheaper with AC (41’C today!) in our walk around. Wider street with parking, we were able to park right below our balcony, so we can keep an eye on it sort of.

Not a bad place. Basic, but clean. The sites have no amenities, but there is a bathroom, shelter, and a couple of picnic tables nearby.

Close to the highway, so there is some road noise.

Big flat place circled by Eucaliptus trees. Quiet and only few meters from the road.

Such a perfect spot for an overnight stay. As many others mentioned, it’s a paid lot from 8am-8pm, so try to arrive after 8pm. It was packed during the day, but nearly empty when we pulled in. The main road can be a bit noisy, so we’d recommend parking facing the beach/ocean. After 8am it’s $7 for 4 hours. Doesn’t get much better than this though!

Stayed here for a whole week practically undisturbed & the only camper, super sweet spot to check out w a cool canyon to climb nearby

Nice area above the Salt Flats. A few other campers off in the distance. We were here last year and it looks like the area had been cleaned up since then. Quiet night.

Nice spot for camping with 360 view to the edge of the earth.
Very safe and nice people around , many sheeps and horses are here ,best season is spring because all the gross are green , in summer they are become yellow but still interesting

The place is under a big construction. All fenced off. I expect it to run this season for sure, and maybe into next.

free campground only 15 minutes from the sand dunes. A dirt road to access but doable with our 2 wd, if you'd want to go more up the mountain a 4x4 is better. Good soil to put hearings in for a tent. Mixture of RVs and tents, you won't be the only one but there is always place. No amenities, so pack it in pack it out. Beautiful view of the mountain as well. No shade place available as it's in the open field.

$13 dollar per night for dry camping (10 more for electricity). Free showers, toilets, and wifi. Picnic tables and dumpstation. Lots of RVs, but with our tent definitely possible and good soil for the hearings. Nearby big city for shopping. Check in after opening hours (1700h) possible when online reserving or cash in an envelope. just note that you need keys for the toilets and showers which you cannot get then unless you see the park owners around.

No water when we tried it Sunday at 9pm.

Place was highly frequented by locals at daytime and night, we had a group of people coming at 11pm to start a bbq. They where nice, but if you’re looking for a quiet place go somewhere else.
The Picknick Arena is clean but sadly the forest around was full of plastic bottles and bags 🙁

Such a hidden gem! Peaceful, quiet and secluded, park right on the lake! I would definitely stay here again. Says 2 miles in, feels like 20. The road is so bumpy I had to stay under 10 mph. At the end sign does say no camping but there is a 5th wheel that looks like they may love here? I parked at the end near the dock by a fire pit. several boats launched and a few locals went further up the road, the road goes further, I walked it but would not drive it with a big vehicle. my bus is 24' and there was 1 turn around I may have been able to maneuver.

Big gravel spot as described. Some people partying in the distance but couldn’t hear them. Good for one night but wouldn’t want to stay longer. No problems though and felt safe!

Nice Campground, managed to get a campsite for two nights. Nice and clean, $24. per night. Nice clean wheelchair accessible pit toilets, no ADA designed sites for wheelchair but that's OK. I use a wheelchair to get around. Potable water. Friendly park hosts. Campsites are mostly booked online, I believe.

Stayed here for one night. Slept in our car and there was nobody. The view was great.

Good to know! From the five gas stations, this one is the only one 24/7 open. The others were closed. It was also the cheapest:)

Water fill station on east side of building. $2 / per 5 gallons. Takes cash or card.

Cool Temps. (30-80). Plenty of Firewood. Rock Fire Rings. Green Trees, meadows, plenty of shade. Water up road Picnic Area, go about 2 minutes past Visitor center. Places where nobody is at. Flies seem to be only issue but not bad. Dirt roads for jogging/hiking. Windy moderate to heavy sometimes all day, and most of the night. AT&T 1 bar, barely loads. Texts sent fine. Dog friendly. 2 bars AT&T are possible if you can find the sweet spots. I only found 1 sweet spot so far.
