Nice resort close to the beach. Still open and a warm welcome. Put my tent because of the weather in a hut. If you want food or drinks that will be arranged.

Serine. Great views through the trees. Only one private spot but it backs up to the river. Absolutely no road noise. Be mindful of the frayed cable on the ground

Decided to stop for the night before crossing into Canada at Oungre. nice little park with electric sites or tent. not great for large rigs but if not busy doable. there were pit toilets a trash dumpster, and decent cell coverage. they charge $10 a night for camping however the box is broken...

It’s still the incredible place as described earlier on. Got a perfect clean room, but will sleep in my car at the end of the huge parking lot. Food is delicious, nice spiced tee, coffee etc also for free. Works on donation. And to go into the dining hall you’ll have to cover your hair with a scarf or little disposable cloth provided.
I can only recommend it if you need a stopover. It’s a different experience.

Slept in our camper here the night before our flight to Galapagos. Safe and fairly quiet. Didn’t ask if it was allowed and I wouldn’t try it with a rooftop tent or other type of vehicle that’s not self contained. $14 a day. The restaurants in the airport are quite good and affordable.

Can see available spots and book online to secure and you get email confirmation. In Jun ‘22 price is $18 p/n for spot + $2 p/person. Restrooms have hot showers and are super clean w A/C. Need to make sure to get the door code for restroom especially if arrival after hours. Campsites have privacy, with tree shade, picnic tables, grills, power and water. State park is peaceful, has forest hiking trails. Pets allowed. Dump station available.

Dispersed camping in the GWNF. Sites in pull offs all along the road. Fire rings all around show recent use. Reasonably flat spot for our truck. Close to the paved road but not highly visible. We spent one night.

Nice spot next to a lake surrounded by fields, a short drive out of Dedopliskaro.

Access is down a dirt track, would be big rig friendly and loads of space for tents. Also plenty of trees for any hammocks.
Wouldn't recommend swimming in the lake, it looks a bit stagnant.

Still free (donation based) & still awesome! Second time staying here and first time in the late spring/early summer. I got one of the last spots pulling in around 6 pm on a Monday.

FREE!! This place was amazing!!! Up above the reservoir- there seems to only be one developed site - it even had a concrete shelter, table, fire ring and grill and an Ultra clean pit toilet bathroom. Saw a few other sites with just a fire ring nearby-as it’s all BLM so you can camp anywhere. Walked to the reservoir- beautiful blue water. Saw and heard so many birds. Getting here is somewhat tricky- just follow signs to Myrtle Point. Rode our bikes along the dirt road road through West Magic and on. More campsites near Lava Creek. Just a beautiful area.

Easy access, parking signs for RVs. Not far from the highway but perfect to stop for the night.

Stayed 5 nights with my bike at Sarv hostel. Loved the place, one of the best hostels (have private rooms also) I've stayed at. Big clean airy dorms and common rooms, good AC, closed beds with curtains, lovely coffeeshop to sit in, good breakfast, huge outdoor area, very safe parking with space for many bikedorms and cars. Hammad and the other staff are super nice and helpful people with good English.
In my opinion, this is by far the best choice for any overlander. Great place to meet other travellers also.

24 hour Planet Fitness with large parking lit, well lit, does NOT feel safe, questionable individuals around at all hours, locals with cars intentionally burning rubber in parking area to disrupt sleeping at all hours & days, lockers but bring your own lock, showers & bathrooms a plus for members. Worth it to get the black card for member perks. Plenty of other overnighters staying here. Police presence welcomed with the questionable wanderings of some. Lock everything up, keep valuables out of sight & don’t stay too frequently, otherwise ok for the occasional when needed or passing through.

We are very close to many points of interest including two hot springs, many waterfalls, the snow capped peak of Santa Isabel, laguna Otun and the towns/cities Pereira, Manizales, Salento, Filandia, and Armenia.

We stayed at the Seven Clans Casino in Warroad. Great place in front of the lake. Large parking. Just let front desk you are there and for how long. It's free. Casino is well maintain. City of Warroad is nice to visit. I believe you can plug electricity but don't know if it is free.

Nice open space with some spots overlooking a large sandy beach. Great spot to seat up on a calm night. There is a hiking trail as well as a short walk to the bubbling sands. The spot is in close proximity to graveyard but they kept pretty quiet. Weak 3G cell signal.

Not to be recommended as such, but we were left to stay alone in carpark and had access to toilets and cafe when large supermarket was open. Suited us while waiting for service wash at laundry in town.
