They have parking inside the hostel, fits a couple of motorcycles, and one Kombi-sized campervan. We drive a Mitsubishi L300, which is slightly bigger, we had to demount our jerry can from the roof to be able to fit. We paid 50 per person per night, breakfast included.

There's a pool, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with shower, it's super clean and the staff is super friendly.
We ended up staying 5 nights, every day very chill atmosphere!

Laundry is 40 per 10kg, drying happens on the clothing lines in the back.

They have a six week old puppy running around which is a rather big bonus as well. I would love for someone to upload pics of her when she grows bigger!

The guys acting a shoe repairer are actually scammers and will try to make you buy them food supplies and will tell you all sort of sad stories so you can buy, in order: food for their families, a shoe repair kit that could change their life, clothes etc. None of that is real and they have agreements with the shops for getting the money back afterwards. Don’t dal for them, they are professional

A wonderful wild camp site at Acheloos river bank. Very easily accessible by a short dirt road. Depending on the season you can camp literally in the river bank, and enjoy a swim in the river.

seaside with lots of space more or less near the water. Easy access for all vehicles. Possibility to stay under the pines before reaching the seaside.

We initially tried boondocking at the BC hydro station but did not have enough cell service for remote work. Cayoosh Creek Campground saved the day! Luckily we were able to get a site big enough for our 42ft fifth wheel during Labor Day weekend. They have the fastest campground wifi I have ever seen (10 down/20up with a latency of 25 at site 11) and Pat is OUTSTANDING. Some road noise during the day but quiet at night.

Small car mechanic, we needed to get something on our bike welded and this guy sorted it out quickly. Disha is the guy to ask for.

Rough car park in open ground, once a saw mill, near to Scout accommodation, currently unoccupied. Trail to highest point in the forest, Veliki Rog. Quiet. Access on route 917 is largely unmade and an be narrow.

On a hill above the valley, very windy but great views. We saw giraffes in the morning, foot prints of a big antelope directly at our campsite. Good MTC signal. Palmwag is limited to cars up to 4t.

Very good stop. Large parking lot, picked the back corner to open my slides inconspicuously. Great trail and views.

Large meadow with trees next to the rover. Easy access from both sides. Big rigs may have problems with low hanging branches. Road was quite busy especially with trucks. Quiet night though. No Magti reception.

the only established campground on fogo island, right on the beach in a little protected cove. showers, flush toilets, picnic tables, fire rings. paid $30 for a site with water and power. campground is operated by the brimstone head lion's club.

It's like a campsite, but without the Wi-Fi. Although I had 4G half of the time. Free and beautiful. Road noise acceptible. Cleaned up a lot of trash.

Bank but no ATM. Apparently there is a ATM at hotel le Refuge, but didnt check it out.

They let me stay the night, the soeurs refused me as they had some event the next day (but when I came next morning to fill up water, there was nothing..). Drop toilets and bucket shower. They invited me for a nice breakfast.

Country Car Wash - these guys can do overland trucks and do a very through job. Scrub the truck and will vacuum inside and wash all windows. Hand wash on Toyota Landcruiser with rooftop tent and all windows and doors sills 140 Rand. Can do larger trucks also.

Very cool place, completely in the middle of nowhere, its like driving on the moon to get there. If you go without guide as us, I would highly recommend to download the wikiloc tracks to get here, its so easy to lose track otherwise. We did download the track as suggested by a previous comment and found the canyon fine. We spent the night as well, the wind is vanishes in the night. Of course no facilities, no cell service, absolutely nothing out here.
