Safe, guarded 24/7, relatively quiet, no problems at all. Cool breeze from the sea and no mosquitoes!
Spent one more night here yesterday, also quiet and no problems!

Definitely a GEM in Uganda.
No noise at night
Pitchdark amongst the trees.
Turacos were here three times since our arrival.
The owner himself was a guide doing tours so he knows all the good areas and the roads in Queen Elizabeth park. Superb clean low level toilet . Cold water was not a problem for us . I prefer the no restaurant no noise options . MTN signal was good enough . Here things look differant . Cosy campsite with green lawns and not a piece of plastic on the ground. Will support hom anytime again .

Nice and comfortable Campsite on the river. Everything is clean and well equipped.Very friendly staff and helpful with car repairs. We made a gamedrive with a well educated and trained guide. Unfortunately the elephants wich cross regularly the campsite did not appear.

Beautiful, clean, quiet spot with nice bathrooms, water, pump out. All they ask for is a donation. We were the only ones there. Hidden gem!

The toilets and shower are barely usable. The camping is great by the river. We could only find 1 power point by the undercover dinning and Barbeque area. It was very quiet in the week. Nice birdlife. There is also restaurant and shop but we did not use it. There are other campsite in the area that you can look at.

This is quite possibly the nicest campground I’ve ever stayed at for $27.50 a night. Hot (free) showers, a kitchen with running water for washing dishes, pet friendly, flush toilets… it’s a great place to stay if you have been on the road a while and need to clean up.

Great place to spend the night. Nice little trail to walk and enjoy the scenery. Bridge construction next to it until Nov 2022, so expect noise from 0700-1700. Loys of rooms for saml and big RV’s

Big rig friendly! Our huge rig and trailer - over 75’ made it in and out without any problem. We pulled in late at night though so there was no one else here and no one else parked. But the place is huge and beautiful.

Waterfront parking lot on Cryslers Farm where the historic Battle of Cryslers Farm took place during the War of 1812. So lots of interesting things to look at during our early morning walk with the dog off leash because no one was around at 730-9 am.

At about 1230 am security pulled up and gave a little honk, woke us up and we flipped on the light and by the time we looked out the window they were driving away. I guess they just wanted to be sure someone was inside and alive. Our rig doesn’t look like a regular motorhome. After this we had a great sleep. Super quiet, gorgeous trees and grassy area.

We stayed from 11 pm - 9 am the next day. You probably could stay and enjoy the Upper Canada Village - that is a separate parking lot closer to the highway. And it is also very big so I’m sure an RV could drive in there too.

Campsite is open again. The ablutions work, there is water and they can put on the donkey for you. Sites are spacious and some (4) have direct view on the lake. The guys are really nice and helpfull. There is still more work to be done (tidiness, waterpressure, signs), but maybe that will improve with when more tourist come. Lodge itself is really run down, though they have a room available if in need. All in all a good place for stop over when coming from Matusadona or Chizarira (8 hour drive) and heading to Kariba along the lake. You can get in contact with Pat Townsend by the number +263 77 226 4159. Its best to let them know your coming so they can make things ready. We paid 10pppn.

Lugar ótimo para pernoitar, o Carlos (dono da barraca) foi muito hospitaleiro, nos forneceu Wi-Fi, ducha e a chave do banheiro. A praia é linda e pertinho tem panificadora, mercadinho. Passamos três dias no local! Super seguro!

Fastest connection I've seen in Alaska. Turns out the same COV-Public network is available at every municipal building from 5 AM to midnight. See pics for map. Sometimes windows needed a few attempts to connect to the sign-in portal at https:/portal.mist.com

$16.75 CAD now as they ran out of wood, and hence do not charge the fire permit fee.
Two loops, one near the water but with sites very close to each other. One away from the water but with much more privacy. Sites look mostly level.
25' length limit per signs, but some sites could take a longer RV.

No posted signs for No Parking. Stayed to the back, there were 2 other folks staying here. Staff said nothing while collecting buggies. Low traffic sounds at night.

real nice view, great cell service.
I was very skeptical about coming here bc of all the reviews about a very hard access but it's really not that bad ( been through worst) after you climb the hard steep way in, it's not bad. I'm pulling a trailer and just took it slow.
