I don't understand why this recreational centre gets bad reviews on Google Reviews! Employees were very nice, you can't beat the price. From a traveler point of view, it's the perfect place to shower yes, but also enjoy whirlpool, steam sauna and a gym! I put a lot of photos from the women's changing room. There are power outlets for hairdryers or other tools, but also two hand dryers hanged high enough to scrunch under and dry your hair.

Water is hot and it's not one of these "push to get water" shower, a plus!

For $7.50 (and $0.25 for a locker), it's a no brainer. :)

Nice free campsite with an amazing view!
Very many locals at the weekend, when the weather is good. We made the mistake to park directly at the river. So we were sorrounded by very loud music and busy children playing etc the whole next day. Stay a little far away from the riverbank and it should be better on sunny days/ weekends. Otherwise a very nice spot! (Stayed here 2 nights)
PS: But our favorite, because a lot more quite and sheltered, was the other municipal.

Camping in the Tierra del Fuego park, at the end of the ride to the Pipo river waterfall. WC, no electricity, no water but there is a river. Quiet night. There was a little phone signal.

camping dans le parc de la terre de feu, au bout départ de la balade vers la cascade de la rivière Pipo. wc, pas d’électricité, pas d’eau mais il y a une rivière. nuit tranquille. il y avait un peu de signal téléphonique.

Nice place very close to town. Walk to main square in 5-10 min by pedestrian bridge.
Friendly family who run the place. Could only stay on upper ground(with van, 6m) because of the rain, it gets muddy. Basic but very clean kitchen and bathroom. 20.000 pp/pn.

Our 4 night stay at Rancho San Dionisio was a highlight of our Baja trip. 10/10 for natural beauty and amazing hosts (Clarence & Isabella). There’s no question as to the passion that they have put into making this a special place. Currently feels like a hidden gem, but I don’t thing it will stay hidden for long.

Endroit parfait, on reviendra!

Very nice place at 5$us per night. We were alone on the site for 4 nights. The showers were broken and we had to wash with a bucket though. Directly on the beach, waves to surf on the left, small tienda nearby. Fruit and bakery sellers and pass by in the morning. The owner cooks excellent fish for 100C.
We were even able to enjoy a space in the shade to hang the hammock and a high palapas to do yoga. Perfect place, we will be back!

Very nice place to stay and enjoy the pools.
Fishing place. Mussels too.
It's shame that there is rubbish everywhere...
Better to come in the week, weekend must be busy.
The road to come is not difficult but very Rocky and conrugations maybe for 20kms. Spectacular view.
Okay for big rigs.

Absolutely an Oasis in the Baja California Sur. One of our most loved place to stay. Fresh vegetables and fruits directly from the garden makes this place even more as a paradise. We are coming back for sure.

Beautiful place, located at the lake. Good dinner and breakfast.
We paid 500 KES p.P. Camping with our tent.

Make sure that the window in the bathrooms is covered. One of the staff was watching me having a shower (he removed the window cover before)

Pontos positivos: Ótima localização, perto do centro histórico, padaria, mercados, farmácia, restaurantes.

As describe before, place for 2-3 cars (not trucks). Very secure place with friendly staff. Perfect place to make a boattrip-we made the 5hours trip…its long enough to see chimpanzees, hippos and crocodiles-if you are lucky:) and of course many different birds. For 5 people we paid 5000 Dalasi. The hotel is next to the village, so you get easily in contact with the very friendly people there. So it is not a lonely campingplace.

a great place to camp. super quiet, people sometimes driving down the road but you can find a spot anywhere along the road, from the main paved road to the end of the road basically. great service, full 4g or even 5g here. higher elevation than the southern end of the park so it gets a bit cold at night. road to get in is a bit sketchy, but all thr best boondocking spots are always down roads. keeps away most people too! would come back for sure.

We are not sure if potable or not, but we filled up as locals were also stopping for water. It’s mountain water so we think it should be ok. Right in the bend there is a hose with a tap that can reach your vehicle if you stop right next to it.
