Very nice campsite with private shower and toilet for each site.
Cost is R550.00 per site with a maximum of 4 people. Restaurant and well stocked shop. Only about 5km from the entrance of Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park gate, Tweerivieren. It's an ideal stop for an early start in the park.

We could park and sleep but they’re building a huge cover for the movie festival . In general RVs are not so welcome . We have local guard 20 reais ( herding ask for) as a tip. No electricity or water

Local para Motorhome com pontos de água, energia, Wi-fi e ponto de descarte. Banheiros com chuveiro quente. Necessário extensão de energia longo. Ao lado possui um complexo municipal de águas quentes valor de entrada R$ 10,00\pessoa. O camping tem o custo de R$ 20,00\pessoa + R$ 10,00\energia.

Spent most of the day working on the bike with Robin, good english expat bloke owning the place here. Experienced mecanic, welder and motorcycle tour guide. Nice shop, he also rewashed my bike like it should really be done after an adventure in the salt. He drove me around town in his land rover to find the parts i was looking for. Many good stories to tell, chill place with 2 small friendly dogs running around, can't suggest this place enough. Oh yeah, and the information you can get from him about the region is priceless. If you get stuck anywhere, injured or lost, he's the guy to call. +591 78773787

Camp site/picknick/swimming pool/cabins. We slept on tent, $1.500 per person, bathrooms not that clean with hot water, electricity on some camping spots, great surroundings

Hermoso camping. Muy limpio. Costo actual 15.000 chilenos por persona.

Beautifull campsite. Very clean. Price 15.000 pesos chilenos = 15\20 usd per person.

While on the way to the campsite, a Conaf official intercepted me and ordered me to leave the region immediately. The route is used by Bolivian car smugglers and the region said to be dangerous.

We were advised to turn up at about 0800 the next morning and a propane truck would fill up the fixed tank on our Canadian rig. The propane truck was exactly on time and our tank was filled in a few minutes. Wonderful service. (I don't remember the price - I was so excited to get the tank filled! We had filled it here almost exactly a year ago.)

Very crowded on a Friday. Barely room for us to park. We did not enjoy the mobs of people but there was no loud music. The cost was 3000 pesos per person and 2000 for the camper. 8000 Pesos. Too expensive for us and too crowded. We stayed one night. (We had tried two other places earlier in the day and they were packed with children.)

Large flat area with lots of space for multiple campsites. Across lagoon from Khor Rouri. Campsite on beach is nearby but is often crowded with campers and local residents. Not the most scenic spot in Oman, but flat, clean and very convenient for staying near Mirbat or Taqah. Do not need 4x4 to access site.

This is a legal campsite adjacent to the Raz al Jinz visitor center, where the evening and early morning guided turtle hikes leave from. Many campsites nearby are not legal because yhey are within the Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve boundary, even if they are listed on this app. This is not a scenic site at all, but it is very convenient to the visitor center and confirmed by the Reserve staff to be a legal site. Enough flat spaces for several campsites. Recommend camping here if you plan on camping near reserve and taking one of the nighttime turtle tours.

I saw a bunch of parking lots and places around this town that would make great camping spots...but I was wondering if there was a place with free coffee in the morning. I know hotel lobbys often have coffee and they don't ask if you're a guest, and I happened to drive past a sign for this Hilton. I was going to stay in the parking lot behind the nearby gym/aquatic center but then the free coffee idea struck me!

I slept in a Holiday Inn parking lot last night elsewhere in PA and it went great. So I pull into this parking lot and begin to look for spots. I took a right as I pulled in.

And I see there's a lot dedicated to guest parking! It says "Park at your own risk."

Well, sounds good to me!

So here's my spot for the night. Enjoy. I'd say a big rig could probably park for a night and then peace out in the morning if you don't make it obvious or cause much trouble. I'm in a CRV myself so not worried about stealth.
