parking ordinance according to the website (see photo i posted) is specifically ONLY for RVs and RV style vehicles. Car camping according to this ordinance is still 100% fine 🤣 Guess the rich folks in the houses opposite didnt take too kindly to people stopping overnight

Typical big box parking lot. Stayed one night in our Class B with no issues. Close to main road so there is some road noise thru night. Good cell service.

24/7 rest area, Auto, Semi Truck and RV parking. Covered picnic tables. Large rest area. Dog walk.

in addition to our visit in November:
the "official" music in combination with those of the guest al the day over you hardly can stand.
The "motorhome area" is used as parking area for locals with their cars so you don't feel Like on s campground more like a parking lot 😁
As ist ist obviously the only one in Salta there is no chance to escape 😁

Family run restaurant really good food. Plenty of parking. Very cheerful and friendly staff. Super clean.

Official parking lot in the forest. Soer and calm. Upon arrival at night, the gate can be opened (no castle) Police are from 8-16 at the entrance. Excellent for hiking tours ... Entrance to the national park approx. 1 hour walk through nature ... Recommended viewpoint "Silencio"

A small place full hookup. Managers are freindlies and give us a good service. Laundry on the site. No big grocery store in Quartzsite. That's a small place...

Cool little spot with old buildings and fresh water. Right by the bathrooms. Easy to find

Large camp of houseless folks on this corner, some of their shelters are attached to the water building.
Water machine still works fine, just a little crowded.

7$ how can you beat this place? Gym great pool area hot tub hot showers untimed! Comin here again tomorrow! Great place to unwind for the day

Place to charge clean water from the river. It have access to big RVs.

Nice place. 18 minutes drive to get here. Good and smooth dirt road. Easy to get here. Just follow the signs and keep on the main road. Recommended. 6:30 to 18:30, according to Senor Pablo, who lives at the site.

Park in the back by the Pickup area, just behind the Garden Center. Tons of available spaces, very quiet and I went undisturbed.

Steakhouse, well known in El Chalten. Quite pricey for Argentina, great service, average steaks. It was a recommendation from several people we know, but we were a little disappointed.

As it’s said before, it’s all changed now ! Thanks to the CAN organisation, the road is brand new between San Pedro and Abidjan, what a pleasure :)

Windy narrow road. But our sprinter van made it. Very very remote. No one will bother you. Gorgeous.

Cheap and cheerful. Barbacoa tacos were adequate, nothing spectacular. Previous GPS location was incorrect, I think my comment will update it. The place is directly across the road from a Modelarama.

we stood infrond of the camping, but the gate was closed, only dogs, but no one who opend the gate. campground looked empty.
we had to drive further to another place

Free dump station. Unfortunately, it's about a foot too tall for our van to fully dump, gravity certainly wasn't working in our favor.

Free campsites with reservation, great spots with concrete slab with picnic table covered by roof. Trash cans, porta potties, and river access.
