We stayed for 1 day without issues. We were desperate so didn't call or look for signs.

Henry is such a nice and helpful guy! He really wants to help, he knows a lot and he fixed our problem. Also for finding good batteries for the car he drove us to the places and we got also a discount. Thx a lot Henry!

pay attention.

The last 2 km Access road are asphalted but narrow. The parking of the park is very small. We came a tuesday afternoon with a 24ft RV and we had to cross some vehicules and WE could Park.

We walk the entire circular track of the caldera clockwise.
The second half doesnt present any interrest because you dont have any views. Also, be aware that it becomes dangerous . The path is narrow and not stable, right on the depth. To find the track leading the parking lot at the end is also difficult.

my advise : Passing the sign saying 'end of NP dont pass' , walk only the first half until it becomes dodgy. And return.

Nice beach dry camping, I got in here with a 25' class C no problem. It gets sandy the further out you go. Lots of van lifers, so lots of shit and TP in the bushes off the beach. Beautiful sunrises light up the Sierra Gigante to the west. In calm weather, crystal clear water, wonderful swimming and paddling. In all of Baja, this is the only place I had any problems, and it was with a van-lifer with a bad temper who wanted to run his generator all night for starlink.

Very nice peninsula, we found this site without any signs, we came here and decided to stay one night. Very soon some girls came along and told us the place is free of charge, it belongs to nobody. No problem to stay here over night. Many children came along and asked for sweets. We had a calm evening. Than a girl named Sheridan came and offered some chains and told us she needs some money for her kids…. . We know these stories but anyway we bought 2 chains for 10 Belize $. She also offered a boat tour for next day to see the Manatees for 35 Belize $ per person. We agreed. Next morning a very angry guy came along and told us he is the owner of this place and we have to pay him 15 US$ for sleeping here. We discussed with him that there are no signs and we offered 10 Belize$. He screamed on us and threatened to call the police. We said no problem and he went away and didn‘t came back. Later we made the boat-tour with Sheridan and Listan the owner of the boat, the tour took not 1 hour, we didn‘t see any Manatees, but ok, we wanted to pay them the 70 Belize $! But at the end Sheridan wanted 70 US instead of Beöize $ and she got very angry because we didn‘t pay that. We left that place after that. So if you go there, be very careful and don‘t belive anything people tell you!!

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

This place is perfect to stay short and long term, we stayed 3 months 😊
for those who don't want to read the whole message, he's not a superhost but an extra superhost who speaks perfect English!!! this land is made for Van/RV/Skoolie and even a tent! its land will charm you! Ramon is always available when you have questions and super quick when responding! we had access to non-potable water to fill the water tank, to the black water tank to drain in addition to having electricity on site and starlink for the wifi !! it's a super quiet place and close to the main street, there are taxis 5 minutes walk away if you have
nothing to get around

This extra superhost deserves at least a 10 star if not more! he is a man with an incredible and adorable little family who are ready to do everything to make your stay great! you will feel like you too are part of the family

when we arrived he showed us around the city and brought us to a small local restaurant which of course served tacos our experience was already starting very well

then we broke down with the RV, it was a Sunday and few people are available that day! he came to town quickly with his brother-in-law to look at the problem we took the day to finally manage to find us a tow truck

he invited us several times to go on the beach with his wife and his little girl (both adorable) in addition to making daily suppers with them

in addition to having loved our stay at his land, they have become true friends that we will keep all our lives

*** a Glamping will soon be available!!! ***

throughout our stay Ramon worked on his new project the very first Glamping on the Island is gonna be amazing . He put some luxury tent on a deck whit private toilet , shower , a/c in your tent And a pool

We just spent three days and three nights in Julian and Sofia's garden. The stay with them was simply extraordinary. We were at home, with a hot shower, washing machine, water to fill the tanks. Julian, an excellent mechanic, lay down under the car to diagnose all unexplained noises and repair an exhaust array, the handbrake cable, etc. If you travel to Argentina, the only mistake you would make when leaving Buenos Aires would not stop here. Contact Julian +54 9 2226 60 8629 before. They both work outside.

I would add that we spent a lot of time with Julian and Sofia to prepare the rest of our trip to Argentina. His advice was invaluable. We also talked a lot about the trips they and us had made before.

More of a hotel than hostal (no kitchen available). Great underground parking garage for secure moto parking!
Walking distance to everything too.
Awesome roof top terrace.

This is a nice place to spend the night if your passing through. The camping is in a parking area that has 2 restaurants. We had supper and a few ice cold Corona's at the first restaurant and they allowed us to camp for no extra cost and use the wifi and electrical plug in to charge up our devices. There is a night watchman on the property which made us feel extra safe. We had coffee at the restaurant in the morning (the food here was excellent) and they were nice enough to put it in our travel mugs and we hit the road. You can see some video footage of the location on our YouTube channel Chris and Tovah's Amazing Adventures as we document our trip from Canada to Nicaragua, camping with our 2 bulldogs and our roof top tent.

Auto Servicio, Gallo’s Racing. Had a local point us in the direction of Gallo’s shop. We had a whole front end that needed to be done. Gallo got us in and had the van sorted in a day. And the rate was fair. Gallo speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable with vehicles. I strongly suggest using his shop if you’re in need of vehicle service.

Be careful while staying in this place, I got stolen multiple items. I suspect staff going through my bag in the luggage area. Next time, I would avoid that place.

Very cute little spot with fire pit, surrounded by beautiful rocks. Follow a little pass just off the highway for couple of meters. You’ll need HIGH CLEARANCE as there are few big rocks on the way. You can ear the hwy but it stops during the night. There are little pass all around the rocks to explore and stretch you puppy legs!
Average LTE and 1 bar cell reception.
