Good camping, free, with bathroons, water and showers. Wifi free next to the camping. We stay during two days, during the week, and was really calm.

We ended up staying here for a week, we really loved the beauty of this place and of course the price per night at 15 Qtz helps as well. We camped down at the lake, it gets crowded in the weekends and the owners played music all night. We survived that and enjoyed the rest of the time.

Ferry prices now 2 400 000 for 2 people and a van (about 6€ at the time of writing). Copies were another 600 000. Need a Carnet and passports.
The Way back was supposed to be cheapee and 800 000 but the guy did not have change and he just waved us through when we gave him a 1 000 000 note. Nobody asked anything more.

Great service, great food and nice location. Not too cheap but good quality. Parking right in front of the restaurant and directly on the highway. They even have vegetarian options! 😍

Beautiful campground but the road to go there is something. We are travelling with our truck camper 3m3 high, 6m3 length, 2m3 wide. If you are wider, don’t go there 😅.
From the panamerican highway to the campground is like 1h. Be careful with your brakes and take your time.
Be sure to write on WhatsApp to Pierre to be sure to have a spot.
There is electricity and water to every spot. Wifi which is spotty depending where you stay. One toilet men and one for women. One “hot” shower for all the campground. It’s nice to have a clean bathroom!
You can pay some garafon which is so good too.
There is a sauna by the lake (no view) but we didn’t used it.

We camped here for two nights and it was absolutely stunning! It took a while before you're there but once you follow the path to the last part where you can park, you have the place for yourself. Some locals crossed by and were very friendly

Henry is such a nice and helpful guy! He really wants to help, he knows a lot and he fixed our problem. Also for finding good batteries for the car he drove us to the places and we got also a discount. Thx a lot Henry!

pay attention.

The last 2 km Access road are asphalted but narrow. The parking of the park is very small. We came a tuesday afternoon with a 24ft RV and we had to cross some vehicules and WE could Park.

We walk the entire circular track of the caldera clockwise.
The second half doesnt present any interrest because you dont have any views. Also, be aware that it becomes dangerous . The path is narrow and not stable, right on the depth. To find the track leading the parking lot at the end is also difficult.

my advise : Passing the sign saying 'end of NP dont pass' , walk only the first half until it becomes dodgy. And return.

Nice beach dry camping, I got in here with a 25' class C no problem. It gets sandy the further out you go. Lots of van lifers, so lots of shit and TP in the bushes off the beach. Beautiful sunrises light up the Sierra Gigante to the west. In calm weather, crystal clear water, wonderful swimming and paddling. In all of Baja, this is the only place I had any problems, and it was with a van-lifer with a bad temper who wanted to run his generator all night for starlink.
