Lovely sites about 100 yards from the CE. No swimming at this time due to pollution or algae. Railroad and highway close by but not too noisy when it’s cold and you have your windows closed.

Nice and clean, closes early at 6:30, but otherwise great.

As described, mostly a large dirt lot, people pretty organized in rows, some bushes around to give separation. Road seems quite enough, trains will be close when they come.

This place is beautiful. But is crowd in the high season. I parked my motorhome close the beach and I hadn’t problem. Nobody claimed anything. I just stayed for a night.

Still a nice hike. 1hr one way. Big waterfall and beautiful view of the glacier and Cuernos mountain peaks.
Easy walk. We did it in the pm and it was nice and warm and the light was still great!

Picnic area along the highway. Not to much traffic during the night.
Good for any RV size.

Not too far off I-10 Fairly cheap for tent camping $15 for the night with water but no power. Could get power at the site for a bit more. Bathroom/shower is small but alright if you need it. Almost no att service, spotty at best. As far as the vibe, very few campers but seasoned and spread out. Caves and store close at 5 and gets quiet fast. Burn ban while I was here. If you can go farther for the day, I would, but a good spot if you need to stop. Crazy beautiful area.

quiet enough at the pet walk area. the signs do say no overnight parking but I've stayed here with no issues in my camper van

perfect view. the nicest place and sea view although not great beach. just in front the most expensive real state in town. nothing but that. good security. a motorized cop would go by every hour.

Small clearance along the road. Some trees to hide behind though not completely hidden from the road.
Some people drove by but we where not disturbed.
Only a little garbage and very quiet at night - might be different on a weekend or indian holiday.

Very nice parking area to spend the night with covered bbq/picknick spots and 2 toilet blocks. Beware of monkeys.

Workshop specialized in luxury car and strong 4x4s (i.e. Land Rovers). No idea if they can service cheap 4x4s like Toyotas :-)
We had our Landy (Defender 110 TD5) serviced here (engine oil and gearbox oil changed).
Took about 3 hours.

Probably the most beautiful campsite at the ridge on the eastern rift valley. We used this spot to split up the stages of the Transkenyabikepacking route.
Stock up on food and water in the village before climbing up (ca. 1.5 km) - the campsite has no running water or electricity (clean pit toilet available).
You camp in a conservancy, surrounded by ancient trees, Baboons, birds. Prices are fixed (1000 p. P).
The people who take care of it are lovely and provided us with a campfire and water. We were left alone for the night.

Nice spot next to a lake. Be careful of coming in after a rainstorm. Definitely do not follow your google maps and take Titsworth to Smith instead.

New Immigration building amongst the other insurance companies etc, easy to find. It was crazy busy when we went but find someone in uniform and they'll usually take you straight upstairs - gave us another 30 days - took about 5 mins and super easy and friendly, free.
I think they open 7:30am to 4:30pm

Quiet night only disturbed in the morning by some wandering goats

Super neat place, two rooms with two single beds each, well equiped kitchen/dining room, hot shower, fast wifi, nice backyard incl barbecue place, spotless clean. Not an advertised place but the lovely women at the tourism office out on the 40 helped me organise the stay. Paid only 3.
000ARP for me as a solo traveller which is a steal for what you get and for Buta Ranquil [all other accommodations wanted 7.000 at the minimum during this season]. Shop with meat, drinks, bakery and a large range of dry stores, including products that are rarely found such as All Gold tomato sauce and Peaceful sleep mosquito spray. No vegetables. They take Visa though my card gave errors.

A campground for school classes and the like.
We where allowed to stay on the ground and use the toilets for free. Gave a tip to the staff, who where friendly and offered masala tea and food.
It is only for small vans since the spot is small and the road, through the village, to reach it is narrow.

A store and workshop for caravan, cell, camping car. Very professional. They fixed our electrical issues.
