Estacionamiento en el malecón costero, de Lunes a Domingo de 10 am a 8 p.m. $15 x minuto.
Nosotros llegamos un miércoles en temporada alta (febrero) y le preguntamos a una pareja de chilenos que dormían en su combi, si era seguro parquear y dormir acá, y ellos nos dijeron que si, llevaban 1 mes.
El precio del parking se puede negociar a $3000 por todo el día y la noche.
Hay lugares para sacar agua, solo que se necesita de una conexión especial para conectar en la llave.
El lugar es seguro para dejar el auto y para dormir también, hay guardias cuidando algunos locales.
Se puede vender artesanías desde tu auto.
Enfrente esta la gasolinera Petrobras donde se puede conectar a WiFi Gratis
Lo único malo que para dormir se escucha el trafico de la avenida, pero llega un momento de la noche que no se escucha, y por la mañana empieza de nuevo.

TLDR: it worked. don’t block the blood bank busses, no guarantees, no big RV/bus spots

I just stayed here overnight with no issue. When I arrived there were no other rigs and the parking lot setup is not like most Cracker Barrel’s. There are no designated spots for big RVs or busses. I called AND went inside to get permission - talked to two different employees who both sad “you should be fine” and “no guarantees though” which was not super reassuring. The one did mention that she didn’t expect anyone to have a problem as long as I didn’t block the blood bank buses from being able to come and go as they please. It all worked out but I was nervous I’d get the knock on this one.

puis au petit matin des résidents Américains snob du secteur sont venu nous dire qu'ici ce n'était pas un camping.
bref on y est rester juste une nuit.

Nice spot to camp on the beach. Bumpy dirt road approach, sandy hill to go over to cross the dunes but it is relatively well packed sand then the beach itself is firm where people drive on it. Great beach to run or bike on. Quiet night, police drove by

ok. little rocked, but did not expect more:). slept in the car, they wanted 2000 rupies,no discussion about the price possible. were nice but did not understand english at all. police guarded us 24/7 and police was not happy that we arrived in their district. on other side of the road is a small park to walk the dog. police said we are not allowed to go, did it anyways and then all of the sudden it was no problem 😅. food is ok there but pricey, would go to the small restaurant just in front of the hotel;)

They are fast. You dont need internet to send your files, just use bluetooth. 25 cfa for copy, 50 cfa for printing.

We got our carte brune here. 3 months for 40900 cfa (Toyota Hilux, horsepower 10).

Save yourself time: they currently dont use the online form because of a system problem. You have to write a letter why you apply here instead of in your home country.

We were here on wednesday morning, she told us to come pick it up on Tuesday next week. We begged her we wanted to celebrate Independence day on time in Ghana. We called her on Friday at 10am, passport was ready at 12. So make up a good story and you receive it earlier 😀

Nice place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro (we saw it a lot so no necessary views from here)

Lot of place for washing and hanging the clothes of 4 people after 7 days hike.

Showers and toilets ok for us.

Also meal in the hotel in the other side of the street.

Quiet little visitors center for the state of New Mexico, good spot to pull off for the night if you are heading south on 25

This place is highly recommended. We stayed here for 2 nights. It was very quiet and all facilities were very clean. The price is still 650 pesos. The staff is also very friendly.

Beautiful and quiet place to spend a night or more. It is definitively still open, with very large and well kept grounds, clean facilities (toilet paper, toilet seats, hand soap and hand towel) It also has a big sink to wash dishes or clothes but the outdoor showers have no water currently. The huge mango trees provide much needed shade (and I was still able to find a spot to get starlink reception). I couldn’t find an electrical socket to plug in but you may be able to plug into one of the cute cabanas if you ask. The only downside was the huge spider nests in the shower with hundred of long legged spiders coming out when I turned on the water…I will mention it to the keeper and hopefully this will be fixed, or resolved on its own if more people use the shower more often (it is low season here in Feb)

Nice and shady spot direct at the kite surfer beach. During day some people parking around, nobody at night here and super quiet. Due to the wind in the bay it’s not too hot here.
Great place to stay!

Beautiful spot! but... we stayed here 5 nights without any issues. The last day, at 7:30 am, a young guy with a bike knocked at our door and asked us to pay him 100 pesos for that night! He told us it was his land... We didn't trust him because we met a lot of people fishing, walking, have a BBQ, etc... and we said we were not going to pay him and he left... and we left too... but de spot was great! 😂

passamos duas noites. a praia tem mar calmo. e o lugar é bem tranquilo

After riding around at +43C for an hour and getting unbelievable quotes for rooms we finally found this.
A spacious room with nets, little terrace and en-suite is 600 per person. Very clean, electricity, fan. A/c is available, but for an extra fee.
Safe parking in the yard, there was also a person camping with a tent.
Alley to get there a bit small, so no big rigs.
Breakfast is 250pp extra and you get a huge omelette with onions, fresh bread and Papaya.

Trust Bank. Of course it accepted Visa as well. Maximum 4000 per transaction, multiple transactions possible. 170 fee per transaction.
If this ATM doesn’t work for you, there is an other one north of the bridge in the first settlement on the right, driving north.
The „no parking“ sign is 10m further, parking right in front of the bank is no problem and allowed.
No checks, nothing to worry about here.

Sports world parking lot across from the Walmart’s one . Nice , clean , quiet . No signs . Nobody bothered us . Nice night before heading north to cross the border back to U.S.

We took the boat on Sunday at 9pm and arrive at 6:30am the day after
For one car ( 2.4Tonnes ) + 2 people in a room with two single bed
We paid 260 000 shilling ( the prices went a bit more up than the previous comment)

They craned the car inside the boat ( Scaring but the team was great and very professional ! )
Anyway we recommand it as the people where very nice, the night was fine and it avoid us to go all around the lake after visiting Mwanza go to Uganda !
