From the tar road, there was a narrow alley with no sign. with our big car, we didn't try it.

We arrived during a rain, the entrance was too low for us (3.6m). At reception, there was only a dog, so we left again.

Very low entrance gate, might even with a RTT be a challenge.

We were offered to stay at the small parking and use of a room for shower and toilet for 30.000,-fr. At grounds looked nice but we didn't stay, as we found it too expensive.

Lovely spot though some soft sand at the end, which will make the engine work hard.

This is a nice campsite with private beach on the lake. You get a campsite , a private covered sitting area with each camping site to cook or do work . has electricity sockets , clean toilets and showers. I came on bike and payed 8000 pesos , for couples it is 15000. Owner is nice

Basic, but functional, we spend 1 night. 35 reales per person.

Buen lugar con pasto, energía y agua. Los sitios para fuego están destruidos así como otras instalaciones. No hay baño de hombres habilitados. El de mujeres se usa para ambos sexos y está en mal estado. Nos quedamos una noche porque negociamos 30 Rs por persona.

we suggest you call them the day before because we only had room for 40 000 CFA. And they have rooms for 20 000 or 25 000 I think.
The food was great and the price really correct. The staff is well formed, the pool is clean.

It is a shame...50 QpP for just stay there...no light on the toilet, they worked exactly once and then were closed. What do they do with the money? For sure not invest in infrastructure. Better go to Jaguar Inn.

Metalworkshop with good machines (CNC) and mechanics know to operate them. Also for large vehicles. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

We were here on a Wednesday and I loved the vibe, one of the nicest markets I've been to in South America. Vendors tried to sell their items but weren't too pushy. Nice and friendly haggling and there's a pleasant variety in stuff on offer.

This is a great overnight spot! The view is pretty great, and there's these swing-benches attached to the trees where you can chill on. We had a very quiet night. The shop with baños públicos on the parking lot is open from 7am to 8pm. Then the next day you walk up to the waterfall, take your swimsuit if you would like a dip in the natural pool (it was very refreshing), and there's several side tracks to walk on around the waterfall, a decent playground in the woods, you could spend a few hours easily. Oh and the entrance is only $0,5. For the parking we paid $1, but the lady told us we could only spend one night there. Loved it though, might be back in a few days after visiting Cotacachi!

Good place to stay and leave you car. If you want to service you car this is a good area. The traffic is a bit of a challenge. John has a wealth of information so ask him and he is happy to assist. Place is clean. But there is limited space so ask before arriving. Highly recommended.

Parked here for the night. Of course busy and a lot of noise, happy with the noisecancelling of our headphones.
Big plus of this place is you can use the swimmingpool and hammocks (and shower) of the hotel misiones de chiquitos for 30 Bol pp.
Also the view on the church by night is nice.

Perfect safe spot to spend the night in the heart of La Fortuna. Very quiet at night. Several police patrols passed by between 8-11pm. The tourist buses use this spot for 5-6am morning pickups so lots of diesel idling in the early morning hours. There is a sink for doing dishes as well as a potable water filling station in the square. There are an abundance of services available within a 2 minute walk. We used small leveling blocks to get level. Some spots are much more level than others

Still a nice place to stay. Some people pass by. Have a long walk at the beach.

Filled our propane here. It was only available 8am-4pm though.

- Adef is the manager and a very funny and friendly guy. Speaks good English!
- rooms are not clean, especially the showers

Lovely new hostel with spectacular views. The kitchen is great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean, all with private bathrooms. The showers are great! The owner is super nice and welcoming!

Nous sommes arrivés vers 16h et il n'y avait personne sur les lieux. L'accès au stationnement était ouvert. Nous avons profité de la rivière pour nous laver et nous rafraîchir malgré le fort courant. Les douches n'avaient pas d'eau et les toilettes étaient verrouillées. En soirée, un employé est passé. Très gentil et accueillant, il nous a ouvert les toilettes, nous a donné le mot de passe du wifi et souhaité bonne nuit. Très tranquille, nous n'avons pas du tout été dérangés par l'autoroute!

We arrived around 16h and there was no one here. Parking access was open. We enjoyed the river to wash and refresh us despite the strong current. The showers did not have water and the toilets were locked. In the evening, an employee came. Very nice and welcoming, he opened the toilet, gave us the wifi password and said good night. Very quiet, we have not been disturbed at all by the highway!

We came here after checking the 3 main RV places in town. All of them were sardine can packed, and all of them looked like a typical snowbird RV crowd. At least 2 out of the 3 were quite complicated to get to, small roads and incredibly wrong Google Maps directions. Currently, where Google Maps tells you to go to cross the riverbed between Downtown Loreto and Zaragoza (South, East of the airport) is blocked (road Fco. Madero). You need to approach just one road to the East (Nicolas Bravo), go to the riverbed, and drive on road "Baja California" until the crossing, one block West. Traffic pattern should be obvious. Road quality is construction grade, and some of the approaches are steep, be mindful if driving an RV.

The view here is very nice. It's a local hangout, so expect traffic, music, drinking, etc. But at least on a Wednesday night it was minimal. It seems to also get more movement as you approach the tip of the area and the water. Safety-wise it was fine, just be mindful that is an easy place to access for everyone. We saw police patrolling at night, and one of them stopped for a bit to check out our Jeep. I'll leave it up to the reader to decide if this should feel safer or not. There was only one other traveller parked here, an amazing small family on a converted small bus. By the time we arrived they had already spent 3 days on site and said they had experienced no problems. They only mentioned loud music and partying, which is normal. There are trash cans and no other services. Be careful with broken bottles around if you have a pet (or walk barefoot).

Cell phone reception was 5 bars, just typical high ping data. Good for messaging, browsing and other async comms. Not as good for Zoom, or other video conferencing. Plenty of open sky for Starlink. Typical Starlink quality of service without obstructions, so no problems on that front. Also plenty of South exposure for solar panels.

Great Spot. Follow valet parking signs to front of casino (highrise hotel). They will issue you a pass for up to seven days. Safe, almost level and free.

As informa são controversas. A placa na entrada do estacionamento não permite pernoite. Os moradores e veículos argentinos nos informaram que não há problema. Enfim ficaremos uma só noite…

Nice place for one night, but lots of trash on the right side. We advise to cross the bridge and stay on the left side where it's much more clean !

We stayed here 2 nights with a small van and we had no issues. There is a calm beach nearby, places for picnic and bbq, toilets and potable water available. Walking distance from sightseeings. The parking lot starts getting empty in the evening and people arrive early in the morning, but during the night it is quiet.
