its a beautiful place, we stopped there for lunch and beer. the prices were a little bit expensive (you can get a good meal for 25 or 30k according to their menu). but they overcharged us by 20% for the meals for no reason. we ended up paying almost 100k for 2 meals and 4 beers.
we asked to stay overnight, they wanted 100k pp/n for a room or 50k pp/n to stay in the van! it was off season, the hostel completely empty and the vulcano closed (allegedly for maintenance). they didn't want to make a deal, so we left...

Marlon and his family were very kind, welcoming and cooked great personalized meals for us. whatever we needed they helped us (purified water, chairs and tables, umbrella for rain etc). there is a lot of space for parking, they have showers and toilets. They even left cake for us after celebrating Frances birthday. so lovely, we were very happy we got to stay here
with them in the middle of nature.

Still as described. Road deteriorated a bit and is now very muddy, but any 4wd will make it (and 2wd when its dry).

No attendant, but 3 businesses nearby said there is no overnight occupancy of vehicles allowed here and that police check.

To reach this spot, you need to walk to the end of Variante Juan Schuurman street (it’s the name on Google Maps). You will see a basketball field to your right. The entrance is just behind. It’s a steep path that leads to the water. There, you will see a few suitable spots to pitch a tent (1 or 2-person tent max). There is enough privacy from the houses and no one seems to come down there. (I was there from 9 PM to 11 AM on a weekday). There is signal since it is in the city. It’s not the quietest place but good enough for being in the middle of the city.

A perfect place for out of the season. Almost nobody on the beach, the cabanas are not occupied. You have the views of the ocean and can directly go for a surf!

We took it from 1st agency at the corner 2 days macaw lick 480 soles pp (jaguar) and asked 3-4 more and they were mostly over 600. We took also sandoval after for 120,day tour. Macaws were the best tour I've done in amazonia! Ask for Rodrigo, guide is really amazing! Sandoval is too touristy, place have great potential but day tour was just about 1,5h paddling and then lunch and directly back. I wouldn't buy day tour here again. But place is nice full of wildlife.

Yes there is a lot of trash here, you can pick some up. Best for a one night stop. It is a free spot by the water, very quiet and feels very safe. The trash fire is a seperate location over the hill, not on the beach and the beach only smells like the sea. Got windy at night!

Very nice road from Conchucos to San Pedro/Quingao. Very little traffic, crossed a motorbike and a single combi all afternoon. Smooth surface on most part.
Apart from the way up right after Conchucos, lots of place to camp. Few Sheppard huts on top, but nothing else (excepted sheeps).

Great spot! Mostly level meadow next to a creek. 4x4 high clearance recommended. Perfect for vans. Lots of space.

Mirador and small car park with guard. He wanted 1,000 pesos. From here there is a path up to the dunes. Wonderful sunset.

Beatiful place for enjoin of coffee landscape, very quiet, you can life the experience of coffee life, good space, water, electricity and very friendly people.

spot parfait, les pneus dans le sable sans enlisement avec vue sur l'eau . plage agréable, sauvage , sans sargasses, pas mal de courant cependant. de l'air agréable pour dormir! pour le remplissage de la cuve d'eau se rendre à la police municipale, a l'entrée du village, en face il y a des réservoirs d'eau.

Average prices (150 to 300p). Big portions with lots of meat. Average eaters could easily share a plate. Wait can be 2 to 3 hours on weekends but quiet during the week. Cafe Olla (Mexican coffee) is heavy on the cinnamon.

At the moment WU works from 18:30 to 20:30. This changes, so check before coming.
