Nice and quiet spot just not visible from the road and with a view. We spend here 2 nights and charged our electric car with solar panels here. Some kids came by but they kept distance. Further there was nobody… a very nice stop!

Update. Ranger came by around 7 pm and said illegal to camp within 150 feet of the road so would be fined if camping at barrier. Okay to leave RV there though, so we took our tent and walked in to a campsite close to the barrier. Ranger said road was to be improved and reopened within the next few days

camping is quite peaceful. 140kwppn the grass was cut when I was there, the showers were hot and bathrooms clean. there was a bit of a smell that passed every couple hours, but it went away

lot of place , but yea theres the airport ... really noisy but between 12 and 6 ... seem to have stop cause i fall asleep, not the best but for at night that can do it... lot of other rv , van and trailer

My stay here was enjoyable. When we first arrived, there was a really nice local man with his horse walking up and down the beach. It was quite magical. The beach is really nice as well.

Then we decided to go across the street to see if that would be a better place to watch the sun set, and all we found was piles of deer carcasses and really gross garbage. It's actually quite disgusting on the other side of the street and further down.

So if you stay here, I would recommend to stick to this beach parking lot! The beach is lovely and the locals are nice.

No longer accepting people to stay. The guy said they used to accept people stay in the past.

There are many boondocking spots on Klondike Road. We picked this big spot not far from the highway. There was already a schoolie when we pulled in and a couple of other campers joined a little later. We could hear the highway traffic but it’s not bad at all. The site was kind of sheltered from the road traffic by a small hill. Overall it’s a nice spot not far from Arches and Cannon Land National Parks.

We stayed one night here before La Paz.

No road noise at this distance.
Quite far from the cities.
Quiet at night. No amenities.
We settled down at nightfall and we left for sunrise.

Asked but owner said they are closed since April. They close every year in April.

A bit run down but very acceptable for 470,00 Toman, just under $10. No WiFi, but good mobile reception. Parking on the property.

Seems a good place to stop. Paid 600 cordoba for room with A/C (one person). Restaurant open for dinner and breakfast. Friendly owner

This is a gem of a place past the town of Molino off Routa 11. More uodates to follow.

Campground at Nainoka Ranger Post, Ngorongoro. Basic ablutions, but clean. Cold water only. Enquire at Ngorongoro gate upon entry.

Very beautiful place and very kind owners. We had the farm cottage; a small but fine little house with bedroom, small kitchen, toilet and hot shower. Very comfortable and clean, it's located behind the main house so not at the campsite. We didn't take the bedding option, and paid 560 nad for two. Very good value for money. The scenery is beautiful, nice to do a walk at their land at the other side of the road.

A truly beautiful spot ±300m from the road and completely out of site. From the bend in the road follow the footpath that leads across the grassland. It's easy terrain just watch out for sharp stumps. The site has vast 360 degree views over the surrounding forested valleys and pasture. We had 4 people walk past, all of whom were friendly and unperturbed by us camping there. There's no shortage of space and big rigs won't have an issue. Good cell signal. We had perfect weather but it will be rather exposed in strong wind and there's not much in the way of shade so if it's a scorcher maybe look elsewhere.

It’s a Gas Station and you can park behind on a gravel Parking lot. The night was relatively quit but in the morning a lot of trucks sounds from the road. The toilets are very clean.

Was looking for a relaxing evening after driving all day. The drive back in is about 30 minutes on small roads but very secluded with a great fire pit and fishing piers. Definitely worth the extra time from the interstate. Good Verizon LTE. Protect and keep clean. Enjoy the sounds of nature here!

On the end of a gravel road, just before a trail to the glacier, is a big campsite for campers and tents. The campsite offers only toilets and is unmanned. price: 1000 ISK pppn. Very quiet!

I tried to call, no one answered as it was 16h45.
I emailed my info with drivers license photos, but did non get any answer.
We slept by the water, very quiet. Water games and nice playground.

Fantastic, low key spot right on the river, we pulled down about 100ft past this spot at a turn around, but there’s a few hidden places to camp down here and more towards lake pillsbury. This river is teeming with life, birds, otters, turkeys, water fowl, etc. So cool. Got here at 4pm on a Friday, a few other people here hanging out. swam and chilled by the river all afternoon. This is a locals hangout area, so if it’s busy, probably best to find another area. Tight squeeze, steep, rocky road in. #onlyvans or trucks, no RVs or trailers. Doesn’t get much better than this though! Pick up some trash and keep it low key, no fires, etc. there are some no camping signs in the area, but quite a few other people doing it and we had no problems. Plus, It’s been a while since you’ve made a “living in a van down by the river” joke.

Nice place at the lake. No music and no barking dogs nearby. Quiet night at Friday. At 10pm a guy came and show me his security passport. He said we should pay 100 somoni to stay here. We said no we don’t pay anything, but he was very persistent and in the end he was fine with 10 somoni. I will stay here again.

definitely coyotes & also locals that are appa watching this place now. I setup & heard someone slowly drove by, go to the end of the loop, whipped a bitch & did it again. It was a big truck with a threatening aura & they were probably the same ones that drove by again in the middle of the night. Not sure when but someone came through again in the 6 hours I was there. I left before sunrise & didn't leave a trace. Won't be back & don't recommend especially when someone's driveway comes down this street & probably who was wondering who was pulling in this street just before dark. Washington homeless problems have residents upset & don't take kindly to "car/van dwellers"
