Great place to spend the night so that the next day you can enter the Punta Tombo reserve to meet the penguin tree. Great place to use as a shelter from the strong wind. There is no structure, just a safe place that can spend the night. It doesn't get a Claro signal. Starlink yes

Ótimo lugar para passar a noite para que no dia seguinte possa entrar na reserva Punta Tombo conhecer a pinguineira. Ótimo lugar para usar como abrigo do vento forte. Não tem nenhuma estrutura, apenas, local seguro que pode passar a noite. Não pega sinal da Claro, Starlink sim.

As described! A lot of space for camping! Some trash but i have seen sooo much worst here! Good place but as they say the entrance is blocked for cars. Bicycles and motorcycles welcome!

IMPORTANT INFO:

In the next morning after i ask 3 different people and say that it’s no problem to camp here, 2 different person came to say that is not aloud to camp here. I ask why and they say it can be dangerous.
I didn’t feel like it but a disclaimer cause maybe it’s not that ok to camp.

Deixamos o motorhome estacionado por quase um mês. Local seguro, possui câmeras e grande o suficiente para caber RV bem grande. Não é possível dormir, mas para deixar o carro estacionado em quanto fica hospedado em outro lugar é excelente. Pagamos R$ 300 por um mês de estacionamento.

So YES lots of parking. When I went in and asked HD if it was ok that I park he said no, he could not officially authorize me to park in there parking lot in the city of Oakland, city rules. Did say that the city would not know what was a HD truck and my truck & said if they do happen to come knocking just move

This is EG Simmons Conservative Park. there are 3 parks that allow RV, car, camping... This location is stunning. Bring your bikes, kayak and or SUP. First come first serve. No reservations. Dogs allowed (but not in bathrooms or on the actual beach area). link to site is here: https://hcfl.gov/residents/parks-and-leisure/camping/amenities-camping. Price $24/night, $18 if registered person is 55&up, $14/night if registered person is 65&up. This includes power (if you want it), water hook up, they have showers, bathrooms, trash dumpster and a couple dump stations - all included in price. We picked a campsite that is waterfront, most are.

There are signs by the spaces that say 1 hour parking only. We were told by employee that it’s fine to park overnight. Didn’t have any issues.

Drive around and there are several tables with smokers/grill and trash cans. Nobody but me, right on lake. Very quiet and nature sounds, with a very slight road noise. ATT 5g great service.

Big spacious and shady parking lot within Taiping Lake Gardens. There is a toilet and shower. 2RM for shower, 0.5RM for toilet. Open from early to 5pm. Place felt safe. Stayed one night, with one or two others cars parked here. Locals started coming at 6am to exercise. Would stay again.

I parked by a muddy side road a bit further down with some distance to the paved road. The amount of traffic till 1:00 was surreal for a dead end road, including a police car that saw me but didn't say anything. Not recommended.

not a bad spot. electric masts near and a tiny bit of road noise. But nice flat area accessible for all vehicles and sizes. Goat herder confirmed no problem to stay. good 4G ooredoo

Next to the laundry ! 2$ for 2mn. Shower belongs to the Alpine Jonction Lodge but is open for others

they still take creditcard and offer two kind of diesel, 500ppm and 50ppm!!

Fantastic room in a new house. Private European bathroom with shower and double but small comfortable bed. Running water and even AC in the guest room with couches. There is a mosquito net but not installed.

Price for 15.000, much better than the guesthouse in the main road for 10.000.

One of the better deal in the trip.

Small family guesthouse started by an old engineer who bought and restored a traditional house (part of the property). Simple rooms, nice view, central location, and the engineer speaks good English. They have gated covered areas where you can park a motorcycle safely. Pretty, small, beach, road paved now. Quiet night with three other campers spread along the beach. Not very private, monastery and buildings in view but no one worried that we were there. We camped at the end on a flat spot along the bluff, by a graffitied building, locked shut, that probably used to be the toilets, none now. 4G on Vodaphone.

just a flat space in the viewpoint. very nice views and chill place. some people pass by but no problem at all. la calahorra its not far. remember not to leave trash and not make fire

A small road side dhaba( restaurant) on the way to Jorhat. with tiled parking space, very good tea, budget friendly menu, and toilets. ideal for short hop to have some tea and fix some things in the vehicle.

Beautiful bush camp. Ablutions are clean with decent pressure and hot water. Pool just big enough to cool off.

Basic nature camp for overlanders in the traditional village Niafrang, Casamance. Birdwatching, fishing, forest and beach.

Really nice campsite with new ablutions. We paid 600MT pppn! Braai, firepit, lights in the campsite and 2 pools. Also a honesty bar!

Bassie the owner is such a nice guy and even helped us organize a beach driving permit! The beach is accessed by stairs going down (takes about 2min)

Expert Oil outlet with higher door entrance suitable for vans up to approx. 3m.
One of the mechanics speaks decent English. They don’t charge for the time if you purchase oil and filter from them. They have high quality oil such as Motul, Shell, Castro.
As they didn’t have the filter for my van they ordered it and told me to come back 2 days later and fixed everything within 1h.
