Great laundromat! Clean. $4 for wash. $1.50 for dry. Definitely recommend.

Most knowledgeable Roadtrek crew I've encountered. They perform RV work and Chassis work. This was the closest place to Alabama I could find to get the work I needed done. They have hookups outside the building, so if the work will take a couple of days, they'll allow you to stay in the lot overnight. VERY reasonably priced and very friendly guys. There's not much around walking distance, so pack some snacks while you wait.

Loved this spot but saw a few mice, so decided to continue on. Have had to deal with them before and not willing to do so again. :)

love this place! Free laundry (detergent and dryer sheets free as well during our stay), showers with hotel towels, toilets, and ping pong table and gear shop inside.

The restaurant is fantastic, hosted by it's owner Hugo. It's adventure friendly, focused towards motorcycle travelers. Has a shelter with hydro to wash the motorcycle, garage for repairations. AND FANTASTIC FOOD AT GOOD PRICE!

Dump drain is located pretty far from the curb. Most likely class B hoses will not make it without having to flood the entire area and clean up afterwards.

It was fine for one night, it’s very close to residential homes.

Also allowed us to fill our water tanks from their spiquet. Need your own hose. Potable water.

Very nice place to relax and enjoy the large swimming pool. Friendly staff and calm at night.
There are good wifi, cold showers, water to refill the tank and electricity.
There are two options to park:
First option is the upper parking, easy access for any vehicle.
Second option, if you feel confortable to drive the steep ramp (may be scary but locals do it everyday), you can park on a large grassy area, next to electricity, water, and swimming pool.
80Q per night per person. Pet friendly!

Stayed 1 night in our 24’ rv with no issues.
Just a big pull off on the side of the road, good for a night. Lots of traffic which is to be expected since it’s a highway. Lot wasn’t the most level, we had to get out a couple leveling blocks.

At Camping La Leyenda you can camp with your tent (it costes 5.000CLP per person during low season, don’t know high season) or sleep in a “Cabaña Alpina” which is a hand-made wood cabaña with 2 or 3 beds (it costed us 15.000CLP for 2 people). In the garden there are 3 shelters for tents, in case of bad weather. There’s also a place to cook (no amenities) and to clean cooking stuff. Hot shower and electricity 24h. The owners also have a food truck (didn’t try, but it was open, and at this time of the year we’ve found a lot of places closed). No wi-fi, but good 4G signal (Entel). They also offer kayaking in the river next to the campsite.

Very nice laundromat, ladies to help you with machines but effectively self-service.

There is pay by the hour parking area with no height restriction but quite narrow entrance from road 20metres before this.

Nice big space for multiple rigs. Little bit of noise from cars passing by but otherwise quiet.

As others have said, fair amount of highway noise, but rest area is quiet. Lots of truckers sleeping here.

The further up the road you go, the better the view gets!

Don't get discouraged if the first few spots are taken. There are a bunch fairly far up on the road.

However, this was a popular spot during the week in March.

Depending on the spot, you get good verizon, but my phone got throttled consistently throughout the day such that I couldn't even send text imessages. My premium data hotspot worked like a dream.

There’s a « no camping or overnight camping » sign that was added. It’s a cute stop, but not an option.

Good budget hotel. They had rooms for ARS$13,000, ARS$15,000, and ARS$30,000. (US$13, US$15, and US$30).

Basic rooms. Bed and a chair. Hot water in the shower. Rooms are heated, though they keep the temperature low. Gated parking area.

There is a restaurant, but it wasn't operating when I was here.

We drove through today and saw before the pin a checkpoint that resembled the description below. They had various trucks stopped and seemed to be searching some. Thankfully they did not ask us to stop and we drove through. We have an old pick-up with a white space cab on top, doesn’t look like a camper van.

They charge Rs 1000 for parking now so not worth it.

Nice lake area. Lots of birds including a falcon and hawk. You need a 4x4 to get past the picnic area and away from the road. Came here on a Thursday, so the place wasn’t to busy. I’m sure it’s busier over the weekend. Nice spot if you want to explore Jebel Hafeet and Al Ain. Woke up to a noisy duck but a beautiful sunrise. Lots of little bugs, but this is camping after all.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. No frills, though. And I don’t think they offer food or drinks so best to stock up before you arrive. Rooms with good AC 12,000 CFA. Plenty of parking

We passed here earlier today. An officer stopped us and had some confusion over our passport at first
A senior officer arrived after a few moments and spoke English and allowed us on our way after a brief conversation

They only viewed one of two passports and no requests for anything like money or water or food.

if you like great food, relaxing times by the river/lake reservoir and an adventurous owner this is the place. the food is a mix of standard American options .

kayaks are available for a trip on the waters and there are some zip line towers that might be open for use too.

great bathrooms and open showers if you ask nicely at off times. camping not currently allowed due to insurance reasons.

This is the quickest way out of San Juan as a cyclist and will cut a lot of risky highway cycling in order to get out of the city. if you follow the northern roads towards the Bacardi distillery and the to the west you'll also have large shoulders on most busy roads.

the ferry is half a dollar per person and bicycles are brought along for free. they leave each hour and take about 15 minutes to get to the other terminal. the water fountains inside the terminals are cold so stock up on it while you're waiting ;)
