Very friendly owners, we took the private tour for 3 days and 2 nights. Good overall experience but not this much food in the first hotel. We paid 750 bob pp, but if you book a private tour and are less than 6, you will pay for the other people that miss. José and his family are great and helping people.

e parked here as well while doing the two day Maragua Cráter Trek and stayed two days just relaxing afterwards. You can park at the rim of the mountain with a marvellous view! There are multiple small paths and routes that you can take to wander through the landscape. It's quiet. And we had some decent entel signal.

For the hike through the Maragua Cráter: it's 2 days and approx. 36 km. The first day you hike about 900 m down from the start and then throughout the day approx. 600m back up. You can stay overnight in Maragua, there are a couple of basic hostels. The second day it's approx. 500-600m up and down to Potolo from where you can easily take a bus or trufi back to Chataquila. Take enough food for the 2 days as there are no stores on the way and food in the hostels is limited.

efectivamente quitando la pequeña tapa blanca de la acera hay un grifo, pudimos conectar la manguera y cargar nuestro tanque sin problemas. buena presión de agua así que se hace rápido, eso sí nosotros no la usamos para beber.

Looking for a simple place to crash after 3 days in the backcountry in Zion, this fit the bill well. Nice clean restroom and wonderful hot showers. Not sure how this changes in the 'peak season' but this was probably 1/2 full with permanent residents, and there was a small mobile home park up the hill adjacent to the camping area as well. Everyone was pretty quiet and we slept well. Might be different on a weekday with folks getting to work early. The road is fairly busy and noticeable but not enough to keep me up at night. The tent area is down a hill and right next to the road, I'd guess thats a lot louder. My kids loved looking at the chickens and playing on the playgrounds, and some of the kids from the mobile homes came out to join them, it was great. They had a rate of $58 for a 30 amp service, but we only wanted the 120V to run a toaster in the morning, so she charged us only $25. Staff was really friendly.

Dispersed camping along FS road outside of Sedona. Pretty quiet. Spotty cell service. Road is rough in some places, but overall a nice place to camp.

Nice area, many new and good Playgrounds and an area where you can swim in the Red Sea if a lifeguard is there.
Showers are at the swimming area (21.6141300, 39.1070580) but currently closed (maybe due to Ramadan season).

Here you can get really tasty smoked BBQ meat. The small restaurant/take-away is located in a quiet side street away from the tourist places (enough space for bigger rigs). There is only one table to eat (outside), but it's really worth it! The owner is a nice young Mexican (speaks good English) and prepares everything himself. Great way to support a local business!

Recomendo.

20.000CLP for 2 people. Not enjoyable, broken, cold showers. A lot of dog shit. Only go there if you are too afraid to park unprotected in Antofagasta as we were.

Absolutely, just like describe. We've camped in a lot of places and this spot is our favorite! The breath taking views over the canyon and Lake Powell.

There are plenty of great spots, so don't think that because it might be busy you won't have a campsite.

High clearance is a must unless you don't mind scraping. We wouldn't be doing this trail if heavy rain was expected. 2wd will make it...but be prepared to choose your lines carefully.

Nice place for camping. We parked near the lagoona, it was away from the hustle and bustle. Busy water park during the day, but quite in the evening, we were the only campers (they close at 6pm). The pools and bathrooms were not the cleanest. YouTube Chris and Tovah's Amazing Adventures

We slept a night in here, quiet and safe. Levelled. We even left a night the motorhome alone while doing the Cañon del Colca trekking and we did not have any problem.

Wild Fox Hill is a great place to stay in Hogsback. Provided with both a campsite and cottages, this place has everything you might want or need.

The campsite can be found down in the valley, surrounded by trees and with views on the Hogsback mountain. There is an outdoor kitchen, ablution facilities, electricity and wifi. The campsite will soon be big rig friendly -- the site is currently being prepared. (see campsite entry)

There are multiple cottages you can rent, from a cob house (earth house) with a lovely day bed with views on the mountains, to an eco cabin on the hill. All of them with their own vibe and feel, but one thing is equal for all the cabins/cottages; they make you feel at home instantly.

An absolute recommendation if you ask us.

Shop that has all the regulars with a big selection of Chinese grocery items, like tofu, mochi, lots of different types of ramen, tons of snack, many different spices and sauces, and frozen items like dumplings and fish cakes. A really nice change up from typical grocery stores here!

Camping place at the top of the mountain next to the mountain biking trails, with 2 firepits and a amazing view to the 3 volcanoes (FUEGO, AGUA, ACATENANGO) it costs about 250 quetzales per people. They can give you a tent for 6 people if you don’t have one. You can do some mountain biking too!
