There was only one other RV there. We had a good sleep. It was very quiet. There was plenty of grass for our dog and everyone seemed to pick up after their dogs because we didn’t see any land mines. The staff was friendly and showed us where to plug in. Because it’s hard to find a level spot, we didn’t plug in. We were more concerned about being as level as possible (B+ motorhome without levellers). We recommend this place.

The shop/ cafe is a very popular venue for locals to social over a few drinks.
The trucks like to honk their horns throughout the night.
The cafe did share the WiFi and there is cleanish toilets.

Lovely rural small campsite. Beautiful views. Ideal for tents and 4x4 with roof tents. The owner is quite a character who can speak French, German and English. Facilities basic but adequate.

The site is still under construction. Price is 30 sol for adults and 2 sol for children. You must book on internet at least the day before. Personally we were disappointed, between the works, the guards who stick you to the pants and the closed information center we found it a little expensive. We came by the south track from Nogalcucho, it is in good condition. On the other hand, the parking lot is tiny and it is clearly not for the large vehicle.

Went early morning before the crowd. Had a great visit. Amazing to think of what it took to build and live here.

Absolutely huge parking lot fitting a hundred transports easily. Very safe and just your average truck stop noise.

Terrible place. We woke up in the middle of the night covered in bed bug bites. Should not have been a surprise. Very run down. Still no water. Bad smell.

Surprisingly, this place isn't on iOverlander yet. The detour here and to the village is well worth it. Access to the site for 12COP pp. Access by small vehicle possible (track). 35-minute walk up from the village, with lovely views. Cabs available in town.

RV register was closed early so got the parking slot from the hotel desk. They said we could have gotten the permit from valet. Enjoyed our free perks . The food was adequate.

VERY MUDDY AFTER RAIN, 4x4 recommend if wet. Went out to scope out a spot next to river and got stuck in mud 20 feet into the area right when we were going to turn around. Would have been a great spot to camp otherwise.

Small laundry shop, good service and friendly owner. can do same day if you bring it in the morning. The price is by the size of your bag or their basket but not really formal. We paid 18000 ARS for about 5-6kg. Our laundry wasn’t folded, more like thrown in the bag, but it was clean and smelled good.

The parking lot outside the hot springs is really quiet and leveled. You can sleep here even if you don't go into the hot springs. It's free but dry camping (no amenities). We felt safe.

To add to all the positive comments, we LOVED it here. Our favorite campsite of the entire trip so far. This place has a really special vibe and is absolutely beautiful. Joep and Julia are so friendly and open to sharing their knowledge.

I highly recommend taking the paid property tour if you are interested in permaculture, water systems, food forests, etc… Joep was so enthusiastic to share everything he’s learned over the years! 🌱 oh, and being able to volunteer for a day was amazing as well. Nothing like learning firsthand!

Definitely buy some sourdough bread 🤘🏼

Extremely dog friendly. Our 🐶 didn’t want to go and played every morning and night with their dogs.

See you guys at our future permaculture, alternative building project in Italy and/or Brazil! 😎

Stayed in the big parking lot. Towards the far N/E side. Was lots of open area.
Sheriff was around the area most of the night, many times parking and sitting near me. Felt very safe.

Great location right in Mérida! I like what they’re doing here. Sweet outdoor shower and I love that there’s an outdoor kitchen so I don’t have to heat up my rv in March! It’s already very functional but They have great plans to make it a true oasis.Jose provided me exceptional support. I needed some help in Mérida finding and communicating with a good dog groomer and collecting a package from a friend. Jose helped with both! He really went above and beyond for me. A great guy and a great place to stay in Mérida.
