Came cycling 2 ppl. Nice hotel 40 soles but got it for 35 soles for a matrimonial without TV.
No A/C just fan and cold water (which is very nice with the temperature). Very clean.
Space for bicycles in the garage, no WiFi

FR : On a dormi là une nuit parce qu'on a pas trouvé mieux et qu'on est arrivés super tard à El Calafate, on était en méga stress toute la nuit que la police vienne parce que le lieu est interdit aux campeurs désormais. On a dû lever le camp super tôt pour éviter la police. Ils sont passés après qu'on ait fini de lever le camp. Bref, mauvais plan !

EN : We slept there one night because we couldn't find anything better, and when we arrived super late in El Calafate, we were stressed all night, fearing that the police might come because the area is now off-limits to campers. We had to break camp super early to avoid the police. They came by after we'd finished setting up camp, we were lucky. In short, a bad plan!

nobody tried to get money. before arriving at this point we asked truck drivers and they confirmed, that the bridge is free of charge

Signage along semi freight lane says No Overnight. But Customer Service people said RV's are ok at back of lot.

Worth staying here and getting to Sossusvlei ahead of the crowds. Nice pool and areas to cool down during the day. Campsites had decent shade but the sand can get quite bad in afternoon winds, thyre fairly exposed. Ablutions were clean and in good order. We were here over a long weekend and a few people had fuel issues as the local garage was out of diesel. Ice was also difficult to get as the town couldn't keep up with the demand.

Nice and quiet place, with good facilities. When we where there, there was also a cook, who made breakfast, lunch and dinner (if needed).

You can check whether the road is open at the tourist info in Villa Peheunia. In the dry the road is easy, if it rains you need to take it slow and steady. We did it easily after a night of rain in our back wheel drive Ford E150 van staying at around 50km per hour but she needed a good wash by the time we got to Zapala. The road is tarmac from Primeros Pinos.

I didn’t stay since it’s over price

I was the only one here. Views with the lake not far away. There are four dumpsters in the area and closer to the lake is an unkept toilet structure. This is a gravel parking lot with some broken glass. Absolutely no T-Mobile service.

I was in a rented Hyundai Tucson. Promasters shouldn't have a problem getting here; I can't speak for Class A.

Wow! What a super scenic road! It doesn’t matter how high up you get on the mountain there’s still houses way way up there.
There’s a few km at the Barbosa end where the road is in bad shape and you’ll need to drive slow and swear a lot. There’s a fe bad spots along the way too.
The rest is nicely paved and the views are spectacular. There are a few fincas growing coffee and a few tiendas where you can get a beverage. Open your window and feel the air cool the higher you get. 4x 4 not required
This is definitely faster than going thru Guatape to get to Concepcion.

We checked here to see if we could park our Transit van for the night. Their is one spot on the lawn which they offered to us for 60000 COP, including full use of the facilities (pool, riverside park area, etc). This was a bit rich for our tastes, plus required a commute into town - probably a 1/2 hour easy walk, quick bike ride or tuk tuk along a fairly flat road. We elected instead to forego the amenities of this site and go to the parqueadero in town.

Super sick camping spot with 270 deg views. Almost completely level. Can be accessed by 2wd. Can be windy sometimes

Spot under a huge shade giving tree in a beautiful valley. We didn’t have any wind, no flies & a really nice temperature! No phone reception with Mattel.

Track leading there starts at (20.2425133, -13.1101683) and is quite sandy, at some parts a little steep & narrow. But very beautiful and also worth just driving the track!! Spot also reachable from the Valley Blanche.

Back for two nights again. Visited the store three times for parts and supplies.

Lots of campers this evening. Some highway noise but not bad. Safe and well lit. 3 Bars Verizon LTE.

This wonderful place has some amazing upgrades: a beautiful newly renovated kitchen area to prepare your own food, a washing machine in the kitchen area with lines to hang your clothes outside, a lovely loft for rent with its own toilet, and... a spacious place to dispose of your wastewater.

close to the lagoon, clean bathrooms, security camera and WiFi available, very clean and neat, has a swimming pool and grocery store

We are on a bicycle trip. Place by the side of the road under the trees (eucalyptus), very quiet and flat. Pelouse, easy to plant pickets. Space to make fire and arrange by the park for travelers. There are tables too

As described. Tons of trash picked up a bunch. One other individual camped all night and left cigs and the empty pack. Pick up after yourself!

Not bad for Texas. Noise from boat ramp died out around 5pm

Quiet and not super buggy

Nice campground at only 15 minutes from Beale St, in Memphis downtown, it’s a bit old, but quiet and with all you need.
Hidden gem according to locals

Local de apoio a viajantes, pagamos 25 reais por pessoa para usarmos o estacionamento do hotel com banheiros e duchas. A noite tem um pouco de barulho dos quiosques da frente mas não vai a noite toda. Equipe e funcionários gente boa, solícitos, prontos a ajudar em qualquer coisa, te deixam bem a vontade. Passamos alguns dias alternados, foi uma experiência boa.

My second day here regrettably. Oh boy camp has been invaded by swimmers, water pump has been started and the road is busy as… Posada Las Marias, DO NOT camp here, you have been warned. Food average, but there isn’t a lot of choice.
