Worth it to be patient and skip the first few pull-offs on this road clogged with sunset seekers and college students. Nice 100ft pull-off surrounded by trees with a fire ring. Very private even if a car goes by.

Big rest area with lots of parking. Convenient for a night. It is also for trucks so noise from engines running o/n and some noise from the highway.
Little lake to stretch legs, picnic tables, clean bathroom open 24/7, and water fountains inside building.
Small shop open during daytime.

Small correction/addition to the previous comments:
When we arrived (shortly after 5pm), the water fountains & toilets were closed (even the outside ones located a bit further in the park). They opened again in the morning. We don't know why, since on their website they advertise toilets open until 9pm.
The parking lot is big and levelled but it seems it's a very busy place until late in the evening and early in the morning, and the building lights are kept on at night. We could take a shower in the very clean bathrooms, but the water was cold. Keep that in mind when choosing this spot, had we known, we would have driven a bit further to a more secluded place.

I am always grateful when farmers offer camping on their farm. On arrival there was a board at the entrance gate stating the lodge was temporarily closed. The owners allowed me to camp, which was considerate of them. Perhaps the board should have stated camping was open.
However, the location of the campsite has not been well thought out. There was a lot of farm activity in and around the campsite although the campsite has been fenced off. The ablutions and washing are is large but very dark, no windows also needed attention, as the showers did not drain. There are no taps at the campsites to provide water. The staff were exceptionally friendly. N$150 pp

Another great COE campsite. The host is awesome and very helpful. $24.00/night with power and water. Dump site is across the road. The actual campground is on a island which makes for very quiet nights with no extra traffic. We were in site 27, a bit tight but we managed to park in one try. The site is level front to back but side to side was a bit off, but very workable. Clean power at 119 volts with no faults. Will certainly be back if in the area. We were here in a 36 foot class A and with a Jeep Wrangler.

It's simply a rip-off. Overlanders seem to be lower class.

I parked by the auto body shop, not in the shop but I parked close to all the other cars to blend in, near the gas tanks in the back. this is not really a pilot travel center, it has the logo but no store, no restrooms, no parking lot either, theres a gravel lot (no snow at the moment) but it's Unclear if it's part of the pilot or the truck depot next door. I met one other camper there, very quiet.

Nice place to camp. Welcoming owner. Loaned us a power cord to reach the socket. Tables. Flat covered parking. Quiet and safe. Would stay again.

A free roaming horse camped next to us but otherwise all alone.

Wow! This was our first stop in Jordan as we came from the Saudi boarder (without 4x4). So friendly guys. Very good buffet for only 10 JOD, including water, juice and tea. You can use toilets and really hot showers for free. Although they offer jeep and dromedary tours as well. And at the evening we learned a lot of the sky and the stars during stargazing from Ahmad. It was an amazing time. Thanks!
