Another ATM. Probably only open during the week when the bank is open since the ATM is inside.

Nice campground in the middle of Pachaug State Forest. ~35 campsites. Clean, well maintained, composting toilets. No real checkin process or obvious ranger station but you need to reserve online at ReserveAmerica. Quiet and quite a few walking trails. Very nice Rhodadendron sanctuary.

Good 5G cell service with Google Fi.

It’s not an official shop per se but it’s where they bring fresh fish and you can get it straight from the boat at their facility. Variety depends on what they caught that day. Super fresh. I paid a bit extra to have the fish cleaned as well.

Lowest diesel around and free water. Spigot is a little are hard to get to as it’s right in the front of the store but doable for smaller rigs and my truck camper.

A tolerable hotel at an affordable price. Suitable for the unambitious traveler. The location is good. Simple and clean, hot water, A/C. Sound reverberates through the walls. There is a paid parking lot right next to it, 200tl/night. The motorcycle can be parked in the courtyard, in front of the hotel door. Room 23€/night if you are alone.

Friday night here, with loud music. 1am we moved 100m ahead and had a less music but the motorbikes were moving all the time, so we hadn't much sleep. But we felt safe.

This is a riverbank spot where the locals kiteboard, I think there is even a kiteboarding school in the area. Everyone cleared out around sunset, and we stayed the night in our van. It was Friday night and a few cars drove by to hang out in the evening, but it was very quiet. There are some friendly neighbor dogs that will come say hi, especially when you are cooking dinner.

Was a bit confusing. Apparently there should have been a Chilean soldier giving us a paper and a stamp. After some discussion it was no problem though. They have those paper there.
Argentinian custom checked for food and looked in the fridge. They took our homemade jam but did not care about homemade hummus.

Small Campsite, sites close together. Friendly host. Washroom/showers clean and work well. Laundry on site. $5 a wash. Free dryer. I recommend getting a lake side site. Spent two nights in a truck camper. Paid $60 a night.

They no longer have their water turned on. The propane man said your best bet was going to fill up at an RV place as most people around here are no longer providing water.

Ten ramadas, all with tables and fire rings. Can't camp on the beach - they need the space for taking out / putting in rafts. You can't see the River from the campground but you can hear the Rapid.

With the permit you are actually buying their Permission to Trespass on Tribal Lands - a nice turn of phrase, we thought.

Four Port-A-Poopers, stocked and cleanish.

Most of the visitors to Diamond Creek Beach are Day Use - enjoying the experience of driving to the bottom of the Canyon. There were 2 others camped for the night. A good stay.

Free RV dump. There are signs at the gate saying “authorized personal only”, that made us leery about entering but we drove in and talked to someone who directed us where to go…after entering the gate go STRAIGHT, do not turn right It is NOT clearly marked near the gate but once you go straight down and get to the first right hand corner you will start to see the tiniest little signs that say “RV”…. follow the “RV” signs.

Nice Pullout with privacy from the road. The spot before this one on IOverlander has a nice view but it's very exposed and there's lots of glass. I found this one just a little bit up the road and it's fairly level and big enough for a big rig. Freeman road is a dream dirt road -very well maintained, recently graded, and wide. I did pick up an entire bag full of trash. Starting to think Arizona peeps just don't give a shit about their own free land. Lots of trails around but not much for shade. Either way, I would recommend this spot for multiple nights. 5G 2 bars AT&T
