Nice place near a lake where it's allowed to camp. There's also shelters and a huge fire pit

6 vans, 4 tents & 3 small trailers here last evening; 2 trains went by; 1 out of 3 bathrooms open; clean & well-stocked. All sites perfectly level; each with large grill. Entire campground neat & well-maintained.

Nous sommes passés hier à 16:00, il n’y avait personne. Ce matin à 09:00, la dame est là et nous avons pu avoir de la Nafta 95. Un peu plus cher, mais ça rend service.

Quiet, well kept. Arrived about 830pm, no one around. I parked by the pavilion and cell tower overlooking a pond with a fountain. No one came by. Bathrooms are minimal, but kept. No locking doors or stall doors in either bathroom. If there was someone around when I arrived, I would ask permission. I would stay here again, it was lovely.

Very clean and reasonably priced place to do laundry. Very close to a Planet Fitness (about two minutes away).

Very nice Western style Hotel. Clean rooms, AC WiFi - friendly English speaking staff. Secure compound - with all types of entertainment. Safe parking. Restaurant onsite. Not cheap but worth it considering the high standard of accommodations. Perfect staging point before or after Waga border 1 hr away.
I paid $46USD/night.

I took out insurance for our 7.5 ton truck here for 3 months for 35,000 CFA. I had to negotiate, but it wasn't a problem.

I think the original poster was trying to share this place. As you leave the gas station and head towards the freeway, there is access to BLM land. As the road bends left, it is off to the right. Clearance is helpful and you might might 4x4 pending conditions. I imagine it can get sloppy after a good rain.

Local sem estrutura, sem banheiro sem água. Numa mega subida. Não recomendo ir com motorhome. O parque fecha às 17h e quase não tem funcionários.

A day spot just off the highway. No overnight parking signs so we stayed. It’s a little messy some garbage and yes road noise didn’t bother us at all. Windy yes ..didn’t bother us either. Would stay here again!

It’s a nice coffee shop with good coffee and cakes. The ambiance is nice, there is free wifi, good service. Cappuccino is ok, coffee good

Pullout/ rest stop by a little lake with garbages, picnic table and a map. No no signs. Hwy traffic noises that are quieter at night. Good cell service

You can drive directly through, just need to stop where the man with the yellow safety vest stands. He'll check the document of the car and tells you where to go next.
No need to go inside the office.

Nice area in the woods under Long-Leaf Pines, lots of room, easy access.
The best spot is for a small vehicle on the peninsula in the middle of the pond, high and dry on sandy soil. 2 ways to get there, one narrow trail from the main area and another one through the Base camp Donut. 4x4 recommended for that one, the others are 2x4. The songs of frogs and alligators lull you to sleep, the songs of the birds wake you up, very peaceful. Ok cell service.
Be aware of the occasional Poison Ivy growing along the shore.

Just before crossing a little creek, there is a nice flat space with a rock fire ring set low among the hills. It was a great spot to get out of the wind. Drive another 1-2 miles past the Badlands camp. The road is pretty easy to navigate in 2WD with a few bumps, but nothing major. All the Meadowlarks sang their songs in the morning. Arrived after 8pm and left before 9am. I wouldn't bring anything longer than a 25 ft vehicle, even more so in wet conditions.

1 bar verizon with decent throughput. 10/10 would stay again!

Got my full service laundry here. They charge 9000 pesos per kilo. Drop off and pick up the next day. you cannot do it yourself. Little expensive but great service

Our 2nd visit here. Hasn’t changed in a year aside from being more spring-like. Nice to see leaves on the trees and enjoy the shade.
There is garbage around, the wind carries it off into the trees with the dried leaves. Please don’t leave your garbage in the firepits people! No fires means it will not be burned. Let’s all do a bit more so we can keep using this location for free.

Very nice, full-service RV park. Bathrooms are clean and showers work well. Right on the river and adjacent to a beautiful farm field. Owners are friendly. Some road noise but quiet at night. Incredible birdsong in the morning! RV sites are close together while tent sites have more room and are near the river. RV sites have full hookups and are somewhat pricey at $50.
