Well worth a stop. The chicken wraps are divine. Bought fresh produce and a few other nibbles for the weekend. Lovely experience. Great coffees too!

This cafe is a must. We walked the short hike up to watch the plethora of birds in the fruit trees and canopy while drinking outstanding hot chocolate and eating cake. The breakfast is also supposed to be wonderful.

Very nice campsite. Two level spots for Big Rigs. Water available, but not potable. No electricity. Sink for washing up. There were logs there for a BBQ. There is a small restaurant on site run by two lovely ladies. Close to the park hikes. Toilet/shower block (we did not use). Recommended. Free.

Great morning/ afternoon of the museum and walking through the statues/ tombs. Heaps of birds along the way too. Grounds are extremely well maintained.
65,000 COP for entry that allows entry into the two other archeological sites.

AMAZING. highly recommend for an authentic honest place to stay in Costa Rica. We whatspped on our way around 7pm and he said we could come camp. we drive down a dark road to the farm house.

we camped in our roof top tent and had access to a cabanas for the kitchen, shower and toilet.

we came to pay the next morning and were invited for breakfast. we talked with the husband of the owners sister for 2 hours about Costa Rica and the farm. breakfast was great.

Amazing place for a local family experience, exactly what were looking for.

we paid 14,000 colones for two people for the night plus breakfast. worth every penny, and would have stayed longer if we didn't have to get the rental car back.

Pet friendly, full hook up, pool & hot tub, laundromat, free shower, close to a walmart

large area close to highway. pretty much like other reviews describe. no one mentioned all the cactus and goatheads that get stuck in your dogs paw. not to mention my shoes. maybe it's specific to the area I'm parked. couple animal carcasses laying around. old route 66 passes to the north of here.

Now have powerpoints in sites 1-3. Very weak network reception at sites.
Good ablution facilities with donkey for hot water.
Restaurant steak, pap & veg is absolutely next level.

just like the other reviews describe. no one mentioned the cactus and goatheads that get stuck in your dogs paw and my shoes for that matter. maybe it's specific to the area I'm parked. great view. hoping to catch the comet and mid April meteor shower. couple animal carcasses laying around too. hmm

What a welcoming family. We were able to park in the driveway. Olivia insisted that we join them for a coffee before we retired for the night in the campervan. We booked on the tour the following morning.
Their three dogs are super friendly too.
25,000 COP for 450g. She bagged up three and for us to buy.

Gates were open. Saw a big rig and a CUV parked on my way in. Slight highway noise. No mud.

Unique stand on the west coast beach next to the Orange River Mouth. 1 Ablution with flush toilet no showers no hot water. Each stand has a braai with a small build roof for shelter, powerpoint, solar lighting. with a coffee shop within walking distance. not fenced and no security guards.
