Nice spot for all kinds of vehicles. Some trees for shade and very welcoming rice farmers who showed us and explained their rice fields! The way here is quite easy and the people from the villages were very friendly and happy to see us.

Accueil très sympathique de notre hôte, douches chaudes et toilettes propres, joli parc à côté pour se promener et observer les oiseaux. Seul défaut : l'autoroute proche, mais le bruit n'est pas trop gênant.
Nous avons payé environ 30$ pour un emplacement de RV, avec fire ring, table, eau, électricité et station de vidange à proximité.
Nous recommandons chaudement !

Very nice spot. Of course dificult to find as the „google-way“ is not poss as the step is to high. But drive further on and turn left through the forest. We drive a 2wd 7.5 tons MAN and had no problems. Be aware of the trees, but then you will have a perfect and quiet night. The first 400 meters after the street are extremely washed out, but ok..

We filled up 200 liters here. We didn’t check before, which was a mistake. Water had a strong and foul smell. Maybe because of the rainfalls before…? Please check before you fill in!

This is a parking option in the middle of Puno, but for rigs which are not more than 2.5 meters tall. It's a small garage so you will have to go there and check if there is space but I left my van here for 10 days while I went to Arequipa by bus and paid 15soles per day and had no issues.

Family Seyfarth are very nice hosts. They explain a lot about farming in Namibia. We stayed at the campsite, they also have houses for rent.
We enjoyed the very tasty dinners. Reiner gave us a lot of information about cars (we have a Landy), he likes to restore old cars. We enjoyed the farmtrip with him with such a lot of interesting information. We also made a sundowner trip, once with an oldtimer, once with a donkey cart. We can recommend the stay on their farm warmly.

Perú to Bolivia with a dog:

As all the others described: easiest and fastest border Crossing ever. The woman from Bolivian customs came outside to check the VIN and have a quick look in the car. She saw our dog and couldn't care less. No documents needed.

Change your money on the Bolivian side or in the streets of Copacabana. The exchange rate for Soles, Dollars or Euros is 20% higher than the official rate and what you get from the ATM. So it's even worth it to take out a good bunch of Soles, if you don't have US$.

Just a big parking lot nestled in between some trees, nothing fancy but it works. I came out to stay at Columbine Landing but it was closed so I was very glad to find thus spot as most of the other lots have no camping signs. Also, the coordinates must have been updated because it brought me to the right spot.

This place is permanently closed.

Stayed here late April a couple other people campaign around there is signal on t - mobile in a couple spots but the more most private spots are on the other side of lake without signal and unlike previous reviews lake is definitely small but not super small and most definitely not a pond also this lake has pretty good fishing right from your spot in most places, definitely a pleasant little place I'll be back again!

Excellent place to park overnight. Flush toilets, sinks. A little road noise. You may get lucky and see the northern lights. Did not see any signs saying no over night parking, just no loitering inside.

Stayed 1 night in a Class C. Clean, safe and decent bathrooms. Good stop for quick nap/overnight. Parking allowed in the back of the parking lot after registering with security just inside the hotel. Check out $3 draft beers at the casino restaurant!

We stayed one night at one of the big parking lots, safe and quiet. We asked to the guard if we could spend the night and gently told us that for sure, that he would be around and that the parking doesn’t close on the night.

Lovely campsite. 8 campsites with private ablutions. water was hot in the evening but warm in the morning as running off of a solar geyser. Went up to the lodge for drinks in the evening at sunset, it has a lovely view. In the evening we saw a bat eared fox coming near our campsite. lots of stars at night and amazing views. Basic RV park, full hookups, free shower, laundry rooms available, heated pool and hot tub. Close to Mission and Pacific beach. Expensive, but the cheapest in we could find in San Diego.

Stayed here one night great views. Four others here as well. Cars and trains passing in the night. Not a good spot for light sleepers but would stay again.

This is a VERY clean laundromat! I met the owner, very nice lady. Washers start $4 dryers .25/5 minutes 30 minutes was plenty enough. Cute little town to discover as well!Enjoy!

Very level spots, good cell service on T-Mobile. A few trains passed by overnight, but besides that very quiet.
