I really like this place, they have lots of cleaning products as well as snacks. The attendant on duty was able to provide change for the machines, the cost for doing the laundry was on par with others. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice campsite with a friendly host! Make sure you go through Las Azucenas and Claudio Arrau León. At the end of that street, you'll see a dirt road that you should follow. There are also signs for "camping" at that point. It's OK for 2WD but maybe tricky for really big rigs.

Nice beach, can't compare to the other spots though, havn't been... but boy is the wind nasty! I have just spent 2 months in La Ventana for kitesurfing and NEVER has the van moved like this... and we left windows open for ventilation, the van is litterally full of sand, luckyly we have a dyson onboard 😅

Oh and we got stuck in a 2wd sprinter (all terrain tires) at the bottom when trying to turn around to back into a spot, but could easily get out by deflating the tires to 18psi, nothing to worry about. If i stayed on tracks I was ok, but wanted to get level and out of the tracks if some other vans arrived. Still surprised the green honda civic people are talking about made it here 😅

Very cute spot! There’s a trash bin and picnic tables, some bikers were there until sunset and some arrived at sunrise but very quiet during the night despite the road since there’s a lot of trees. Some shady and sunny spots depending on what you like, pretty level. As someone else stated, a cop came here to turn around and do some radar but didn’t even look at us. Highly recommend.

Large gravel pullout across from Gardiner Fire Department and adjacent Yellowstone RV Park. Arrived late and left late, but believe we were the only ones there. Road noise wasn't too bad, but probably worse in the summer. Room for several big rigs here.

Stayed here 4 nights while fighting a stomach bug. Great place to rest. It’s a tight space (1-2 vehicles max), so call ahead before showing up. 20,000/pp. Diana and her family are super sweet. They let us use their washing machine and try out the sauna. We also bought some soaps that Diana makes herself! They have a unique property and various self-sufficient projects going on, so it was fun to talk about their wind turbine, solar, etc.

Hose connection with potable water. Outlet super close to where you park. They have a 4-month-old puppy who enjoyed messing with our dog and making him play all hours of the day.

The property is gated, and you need to use a remote to get in and out. Luckily, Diana wakes up early, so they weren’t bothered when we were knocking early on their door to be let out of the gate to go for a run or walk our dog.

Good supermarket. On the main road with a spacious guarded parking lot. No height restriction, just a slightly tight turn when entering. Would be ideal for big rigs. 1 hour of parking for free with purchase in supermarket.

Great place. We stayed 3 nights in a beautiful small Bolivian-style house with a hot shower. We could park our van safe behind the gate. Also good wifi, food & nice tours with the owner.

Basically a dozen parking spots at the edge of a large field. Restrooms were locked. The field was great for my dog. Don’t pass up Skinner’s Rockhouse at the south end of town for coffee, tea, breakfast burritos and great ice cream.

Campground is in a nice, quiet place. Bit expensive. Hosts are nice. Unfortunately the bathrooms aren't clean, questionable brown smudges on shower door (skipped shower).

Good little spot to park my van! I recommended parking in front of the hospital, that’s the less conspicuous spot. There was another camper parked here too. I parked at 9pm stayed until 4am.

Stayed here last night and we were the only campers. The entry sign says the park officially opens in May and is open through September. The gates were open & there was no box to collect money. Water wasn’t turned on yet, and the pit toilets were very clean.

Sites 17 and 18 are right on the lake overlook and some of the other sites have shelters over the picnic tables. Each site has a picnic table, grill & fire ring. Didn’t notice any sites that offered shade from trees.

We had a really quiet night and enjoyed walking on the lake shore.

According to the core of engineers website, the US Park pass for seniors gives you a 50% discount for camp stays.

Stayed here 1 night & spent the next day at the beach. Caught a beautiful sunset & only 1 other family on the beach during the day in April.
Tricky road getting up & down, would not recommend driving it at night

Spent a good quiet night here. No issues. There are “no loitering” type signs but I’m guessing that’s for just-in-case. The lot is huge plenty of space for anyone

Came here cycling, two persons.
The owner is really friendly. They told us for the moment there is nothing to pay to camp here. Just to help him back for some stuff at the place.
So to pitch your tent it’s free (under a Tree, some grass) and if you want to sleep in a bed it’s 10k per person. He proposes a restaurant too.
Cell signal, wifi, water, electricity, kitchen, bathrooms, cold showers.
There are two dogs friendly.

This place is no longer free. But the good news is that it’s only 4,000 pesos per vehicle. They gave us a paper receipt and everything. You can stay multiple nights without paying the fee again.

Super chill and quiet spot. Level-ish parking and VERY open. Lots of space for big rigs. Lots of lights. Bathrooms open during the night. Clean and with TP. No showers. Apparently you can fill up your water tank, but we didn’t.

We got the cable car ride for 12,000/pp one way after some negotiating. A taxi back was 12,000. The church is super unique and worth a visit!
