La Canopée Family | We managed to fill up our cylinder with LPG here, at last. The total station close to this station had refused. But here, after a call to the boss, they accepted.

Comfortable bed and warm blankets. No towels provided. Half a block east of this place is another nice-looking place to stay, Hospedaje la Luna. |

trup_tiraccontounposto | No English spoken, friendly man but tried to get more money than due. We filled only 20 liters because someone told us that this should be our daily quota as foreigners, don't know if it's true. We paid 8000 dinars. |

Manuel K | EDIT: Definitely a scam. Strolled through a tourist shop in Pohkara today and saw the exact same necklace for 150r (he wanted 4000r!). Some other parts of his "family heir loom" collection where also visible...
BUT: in the end when it came down to payment, from my perspective he tried to scam me and charge more than agreed.
Besides jewelry they also offer some other "extras" to earn a bit. I respect the business ideas to earn more and understand it's a difficult life up there with not alot of wealth. That's why with the points above in total my opinion is it was no misunderstanding of prices, but a lousy way to scam me and earn more money. In hope "the white tourist" doesn't check and care about more costs... |

chris | I think it is actually called "Big Rock". Make sure you navigate to the east side of the river. There's a chance Google Maps will take you to the west side and private property. Technically I believe you need a fishing license to camp here overnight. Great spot. |

thekombichronicles | Pricing still accurate. We paid 3500 two ppl and the van for the first night and then 2000 the next night. Absolute bargain for the facilities (especially with current prices in Argentina) only a couple of others here. Beautiful big spaces, plenty of hook up, water points and bbqs. Only downside is that they only open the showers for a short time in the evening, this is to stop them being damaged as apparently that happens a lot from people who come in without paying. |

boryenek | Camp Monkey is a family business running by Melanie & Hannes. They repaired the broken zip of our rooftop tent in some hours. But they can also repair trailers, campers, rooftop tents...

tortugando_ | A small not very touristic island, if you want an horuras experience without going far we recommend this. If you are looking for nice beaches, this is not the place, it's a place where you can see locals, see a bit of history. We parked the car for 80L for the day and took the boat from Coyolito, the boat costs 15L each way pp, quite cheap, than arriving in the island we took a moto taxi (tuktuk) to go around it, there are many moto taxis available all the time, so we took one to go from El Burro to Amapala, Amapala is the center you can find food, a nice malecon, pier, museum, than we got a moto taxi to Playa grande, Playa prieta, El Zapote (we negociate with them so the value varies from 15L to 25L pp each leg), as I said not pretty beaches, but the vibe there is very nice, we felt like we had an experience there, very very nice locals. We didn't sleep here, went to Terra-Mar restaurant to park and sleep there and enjoy a swimming pool afterwards. |

Elinam | Good and clean campsite. Bathroom is heated and very clean. Shower either is hot or not. Better ask the lady before taking a shower. You get a key to the bathroom. The sink for washing the dishes is in the locked kitchen building and you don’t get the key. You will have to ask the lady to open the door every time you want to do the dishes. Wifi is mostly good, a bit unstable. |

elindamc | Peaceful night at the Molas Pass Summit. It’s late April and the snow in the parking lot was mostly plowed, bathrooms are not open yet, and walkways still have some snow. At this time of year, other than a dry flat parking surface, there are no amenities however, the 360 views are spectacular and well worth an overnight stay or a stop in as you’re passing by. No signs to indicate that parking overnight is prohibited. |

smoggyplayground23 | The place is as described, very quiet. Toilets at the information center were very clean. Good to know : there are yoga classes at the church on Monday nights (at least) so our van that was parked in front of the library has been surrounded by participants’ cars between 6 and 7 PM. |

The Nomadic Experience | There are a few small pullouts along the road, But there’s nothing at this specific GPS location. Didnt see any actual camping areas just pullouts. Spent a quick night and left early. No issues. |

Jonathan and Victor work here as waitress and guardian in the night, they're really nice and will do everything to make you at ease.

roamingabout.com | Still works as described. There is a 2m hose that is pretty firmly attached so we had to use a water thief to connect our hose to their hose. Pressure is good. But not perfect for filling tanks in the camper. |

jkirkwin | Tent-only campground right in the town of Moab. A 10 minutes walk to the downtown section with bars/shops/etc. $28/night, bookable online or on site. About 10 sites to choose from. Some have trees for shade, but not all. In spring they have a ton of tent caterpillars which were super annoying when trying to set up and take down camp. They also attract a lot of other small insects, so make sure to zip up your tent every time you enter/exit. Has great cell signal, hot showers, running water, a sink for dishes, and trash/recycling bins. Theres a power stip beside the dishwashing sink to charge electronics. No campfires allowed. They provide some bbqs, but they're in pretty rough shape. I just used my camp stove instead. |
