I wasnt ableto get it for 10$. The room I got was 15$, but got a very very minimal room. all the other rooms in the hotel start at 20$. I think the guesthouse 100m before has a better value.

Can be booked online or reserved by phone. I got my ticket at 4pm, have to check in at the port by 6pm for the 9pm ferry. Loading the trucks took ages, and as they put the bikes in the very back near the gate, I had to wait about 4 hours until I could load my bike. Well, last in means first out. The ferry left Mersin port around 11, but only arrived at 9 am in Famagusta. Apart form the 50+ trucks, there were maybe 5 cars. The drivers slept in their vehicles, so I had the room with maybe 50 seats to myself, and rolled out my camping mat and sleeping bag. The truck drivers get dinner and breakfast, I had my own food. No shop, so be prepared. Water is available. Ticket price: Motorcycle and one person 2,245 TL, or €65.
On arrival in Famagusta, walk to immigration and get your stamp first. Then to the agent of the shipping company who will give you a piece of paper. Take that back to the ship where you'll find a customs officer to sign it. Go back to the shipping agent, who will arrange the insurance (I paid 751 TL + 70 TL, or about $27 for a month). Then proceed to the customs office behind the immigration booths, to get your temporary import permit (time limit is your insurance duration).
Customs and immigration procedures took about 1 hour on each side, all friendly, and pretty easy to do.

Came yesterday to scope out, wouldnt advise shopping here but lots of small campers parked in the back of the lower lot during the day. Came back tonight to overnight around 10pm and parked on the far side toward the Firestone in the lower lot with some other slightly bigger camper vans. Security patrol was a nice, safe feeling. He drove right by as I was settling and didn't say anything. Have heard from my local friends this isn't a great area so I felt safer on the lower level with the other campers and security as a solo woman.

Signs say only parking for 4 hours for Planet use only. Towing for violating.

Sani is open but Water is only on seasonally. ……….,…

My small fan had starting issues. The stall guy here fixed it. He knows what he is doing.

Camping 200M pp,

Cabin rooms for 1000M (shared bathroom with cold water) and 1200M (own bathroom with hot water ).

We put our tent near electricity plug and first two hours everything was good, but after we loose electricity for 3 hours because they forget to pay for it.

A string of lakes and associated campsites on the Machias River. The gps location is for the furthest campsite from highway 9 but you will find many others on the way.
All campsites are free, first come first serve, pit toilets, no water or trash (please practice LNT and pack in/pack out).
Fires allowed only in fire pits. Some campsites do not allow campers- I would recommend Machias Rips campsite on the south side of Highway 9 for bigger rigs.
The sites are open year round but the road is not plowed.
Maximum 14 day stay.

Please be bear safe with food storage.

The further north you go the less cell reception you will have.

Most travelers doesn't understand we made this an authorized route and it was considered as Smuggling through our effort as we pay to to demand for military coastal gun boat check points on the sea in order everyone traveling through our route will be safe and for the past 4 years we had been operating successfully despite the pirates about the golf of Guniea sea coast internationally. Some travelers lack understanding how the system works in Africa but some who understand that we had never ripped anyone of their payment without making sure they arrive Cameroon safely will understand we had been on this record for the past 4 years and we had giving the Nigeria and Cameroon authority more evidence. We Company goes through a lot of effort to make sure of our customers safety always. Our fast boat is the only option if you need to leave Nigeria in alegally Emergency exit just in 2 - 3 hours. At times most travelers comes without having issues with immigrantion and Customs documents into Nigeria and cameroon but due to our company relationship with the Nigeria and the Cameroon all suitation authorities issues will be overlooked and let go. Be sure to check out the Machias River Corridor across the road for plenty more campsites. Open year round but road isn’t plowed.

Very clean self laundry with large parking in front and behind. Closed at 9 pm

Everything as described. No Problems, really quiet. Stayed one night with three other Campers around.

I don't know the amenities. I see it as a very nice place next to the river but I have not camped.
Camping Club Almafuerte. Desconozco las comodidades. Lo veo como un lugar muy lindo al lado del rio pero no he acampado.

Laundry place, open til 10pm, last wash 9pm. Clean and with AC, nothing overly special but a good place to get your clothes clean.

This was the perfect spot! Big level parking area not too far off the road. Level with picnic tables and restrooms. 3 bars version. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. No one came in throughout the night either.

Unfortunately the road kind of fell apart on the way in here. I arrived in dark so had to stay anyway but not really nice. And not really flat and tons and tons of bugs. I attached a pic of the road how it is now.. people came by in the morning but everyone super nice and just waved.

They have done almost half of the road now so only about 20 km of bad road. And it’s not terrible (maybe after days and days of heavy rain it is) some parts you can drive 60 and some parts 5. 4x4 not needed but high clearance won’t hurt :)

Cleanest car I ever had! But also had a service done. I came in just to ask if they could do it tomorrow as it was already 1pm. But I was out there at 5pm. They do what you tell them to do and they are fast but I didn’t feel like they were sloppy and you have to watch over them. Richardo takes care of you and he also makes sure it’s get done properly. All original parts as well. Good price and also his wife is lovely! 🙏

If you go another 1/4 mile there is a sizable ‘meadow’ on the left. It has a slight slant.

Great place to eat, clean, nice staff, huge portions of food, one dish can full 2 person easily and the best of all, cheap as f... 19.000 cop or USD5 pear meal.

Passing was easy. just make sure you have the exact amount we gave 50bs and even though they confirmed on 40bs he got mad when we asked for the change.

$3.00 for showers. No private stalls, at least in the women’s area that was true. Friendly staff.
