very aggressive unleashed dogs are still near here. I encountered them in the cluster of houses a few hundred meters downhill from the pin location.

Small parking lot along the river, nice area with trees to walk and flower garden. Not the quietest due to traffic and not the most private due to nearby houses, but fine if you need to sleep somewhere near the city. Toilet short walk on the top path in the direction away from the bridge

14 $ if you have an annual pass for national parks.
Beautiful spot, was veeery windy.
with a 2wd, be careful when choosing your path, they are sandy, we saw a big camping car stucked in the sand. But if you are careful it's fine.
free dump station with potable water, but we did not drink it (water color was a bit yellow).

2 dump spots with a spigot on each side. Not sure if it is potable.

Filled in water at a spigot with hose attached. Was surprised to see dirty water come out at first so let the water flow out some time with our filter attached to the end of the hose. Won't be drinking this water..

Passed thru and did a quick stop at visitor center. Refilled water. As described this is a very convenient stopover. it's parking lot camping but with full amenities you're close to shopping and restaurants. Kudos to White Rock for doing this.

Very good and friendly service! We didn’t have the right bottle connection for our Dutch gas bottle, they did everything to solve it, so that they cold refill. Super service! Highly recommended. Also very good price! We paid 10.000 pesos for 10kg

We had just arrived in Belize for 3 days from Guatemala and Honduras. In Placensia there are few overnight options for Big Rigs. After a great but hot day we arrived at the end of the afternoon. we felt very welcome by the owners, very friendly. the spot is very neat and clean. You can also refill drinking water and use electric ones. the toilet and shower building is not ready yet. we don't need that either. but partly because of this we thought the price $45 US dollars was high but we were able to agree on $35 US dollars, you pay the price for the area which is different from the prices in Guatemala

Gorgeous dead end road to loch. Many spots along the road for campers. There were people camping at the parking lot at the end and a couple vans but it’s much nicer along the road. Very quiet at night.

Beautiful little caravan park. Great facilities hot and clean showers. Sink to wash dishes with hot water. Right next to Rosslyn chapel, nice walks and 8min walk to bus for Edinburgh. About £40 a night for electric.

as previously described. nice out of the way BLM campground. clean, "real" bathrooms, no showers tho. 8-10 fcfs sure with covered picnic tables. 2 rv only electric/ water dies ($18), no dump station. other suites are $7, day use only is $5. exact cash or check only. bring all your supplies with. there's a Sm market I saw at the highway turnoff. petroglyphs are worth the hike, about 2.5 miles round trip. the village is in the opposite side, about 1 mile round trip. pets are allowed but not in the office or bathrooms or on the trails. nice place for a couple days adventure or overnight stop. I stayed til the 7th.

Stayed here 3 nights. Perfect spot to take your dog on the hike. Ask Manuel to show you where the closest ‘entrance’ is to the 12.5km trail around the lake. Go clockwise so you end up at the entrance (in case they say something about your dog). Only one employee stopped us and told us how cute our dog was. Didn’t seem to care at all.

Really comfy locations. Perfectly level. Manuel is extremely kind, even offered us a hot juice to try. Colada de uvilla, I believe it’s called. $10/night for two of us in a van.

They have a puppy that loves to play. Our sog had a great time. There’s a lot of grassy areas like a soccer field and a volleyball court. There’s a beautiful alpaca on the property as well. Nice covered outdoor area with hammocks and tables.

Showers still under construction. They look like they will be super nice. Possibility to fill up on water with a hose. Unless you have a long hose, you will need to use theirs.

There wifi didn’t always stretch to the van, so we set up Starlink. Great connection.

Good spot to stop before Ayacucho. The view is prettier on the PE3S watchtowers (coming from the south), but at least the spot is not visible from the main road. There are a few passages of premises by car.
We felt safe.
In the morning 3 people came to collect the potatoes in the neighboring house.

Wonderful spot, right on the river, established fire rings. It’s definitely a little bumpy, and has exposed rocks on the road. Like mentioned before there quite a bit of trash, but worth picking up to hang out in a pretty spot. My 25ft camper fit without a problem. No AT&T service.

We didn’t ask for permission and just stayed a little bit hidden from the road. No one disturbed us, many times locals passed and just said hello.

Hippos and Crocs are in the water, also if your lucky you can see the Kilimanjaro.

Very poorly maintained place, HUGE holes on the way, a lot of waste, overflowing garbage cans, old mattresses., etc. This site did not seem safe to us. Too bad, because the view is indeed very beautiful and it's very big. To be avoided in my opinion.

We tried to cross border from Tanzania to Kenia with EU passport and SA registered car. Apply for a e visa a week before by use of a computer not by a phone it's 35 USD pp. At the border a fixer can do it for 20USD pp fee.
They did't want to give an East-Africa visa. At this border Customs doesn't allow you to crossborder with a SA registered car without CDP despite you want to pay 500USD to a fixer. We didn't crossborder
